I listened to a lot of radio talk back shows last week, the reasons many didn't want to vote for Labor were wide and varied.

One stand out caller I recall was a lady who said she was in her 40's, she dreaded the idea that her Mother could possibly lose retirement income which is just enough to get her by without being on the pension, self funded but she was also in fear she might have to help her mother should she be forced onto a pension.

Another caller from WA, union official hated what happened to that worker who in QLD that asked Bill Shorten that was recorded by TV where he asked how his income would be effected earning $250,000 per year bout working between 60 and 70 hours per week, Bill said we'd look at that, that same worker was fired a week out from the election for "talking to the media" though he wasn't he was just recorded off the cuff, funny how his boss was an ex Labor Party candidate That bloke from WA knew Bill couldn't be trusted.

Many, even this in seats that have a lot of Muslim, Hindu, and other Non Christian populations apparently saw Labor's stance putting down Christianity as a slow step to their own beliefs.

The reasons I could go on and on about.

They all though pointed to one thing, Bill and Labor used Gough Whitlams old "Time for change" slogan ......... Most callers were happy and didn't want change living in about the best country on the planet.

A few days before the election when Bob Hawke passed away, Bill was seen talking about Hawke by many, many thought Bob was great and Bill is no Bob.

Kevin here. You're right. In my own neighborhood I just see things like squirrels chasing each other(part of the mating ritual) and I've seen male deer fight over females or fighting over territory.

Yes you're right about that. In America more people own guns than pets. Years ago a small part of the population would keep guns for home protection. Now though a much larger part of the population own guns for not only home protection, but personal protection. It is illegal for citizens to carry guns on their persons, or keep them in their cars, but millions of Americans do just that. Also it is so easy for people to buy guns, and rifles. There are gun stores in thousands of cities all over the nation and also people can buy guns from gun catalogs online.
