The links aren't bad, but something is blocking them. Are they from your own YT account? If so are they set to "public" (or whatever the YT equivalent is?) S_i |

Never thought about that...
The videos links I copy and paste are not my personal videos. They have been uploaded by others. I did make a change within my own account regarding who "sees" video I've watched. Hopefully that will make the difference. |

Okay - got my fingers crossed...
About 5 or 6 years ago, I stumbled onto a CD from trumpet player Ray Anthony. It was actually a 2 disk set. The 2nd CD was just run-of-the-mill traditional jazz titled "Happy Trumpets". The first CD, however, was titled "Dirty Trumpet for a Swingin' Party". I bought it from Amazon about 2 years ago. It is basically a David Rose "Music of the Stripper"-style CD, full of strip-tease tunes, one after the other. They are his versions of the music. I have no idea when or where it was recorded. The info provided on the disk is vague, to put it lightly. There are a couple of things... 1) The recording is a bit rough, even transferred to disk. It sounds good, just not crystal clear. 2) There is a "cheering crowd" sound that is in the background sometimes. It sounds fake, but it is there, nonetheless. It's about 27 minutes long and I just found a y t link - so again, fingers crossed! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XVT1wVooqIY I found a site with samples that can be purchased individually if it doesn't work. http://www.allmusic.com/album/dirty-...y-mw0000048771 I also included the Amazon link where I bought it. Unfortunately, they still don't have samples or mp3s that can be bought. https://www.amazon.com/Dirty-Trumpet...t_mus_ep_dpi_3 For anyone interested, pm me and I can provide a list of song titles. Tell me about it...
I remember the first time I found samples of that music. I went into meltdown. I couldn't find full versions and thought I'd go insane! It took me 3 years to find it online and the searching was maddening! Once you deal with the background noise, it's a killer CD. The entire thing is zipper-ripping torture for the groin... I had no idea Mr. Anthony ever created such a trashy set of tunes! |

The first few tunes are 'brutal' but the middle and end stuff is painful on the ears-however I am astounded that he didn't pick a strip classic 'Frankie and Johnny' which would have been, played like Mr A, stratospherically good. I was reminded about someone I heard years ago who also used to make a trumpet practically scream(which was annoying after a while) and that was William 'Cat' Anderson from the Duke Ellington orchestra. I am not sure if the background 'cheering' was false because I also recall something with Louis Prima and his band(voice of King Louie in 'The Jungle Book') doing the same sort of thing. Anyway worth splitting into three or four separate tunes. I used Mr Anthony's Night Train in a clip of a hot strip from Sharon Kayne. It may well still be available for you to download via her thread.

After carefully downloading it from YouTube, splitting it into individual tracks, and properly naming and tagging them....
...I only go and find it for sale on Amazon! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DJPXKAA The links is for a 5 "disc" set. Scroll to the bottom and Disc five is "Dirty Trumpet". From the samples it sounds like it might be a slightly easier on the ear remaster, too. |

The biggest thing would be finding some girl to somehow interpret this music because she would have to try and match the out and out sleaziness of the music, although at times it seems like Mr Anthony is heavily over-egging this particular pudding and the crowd actually drown out the band.
