Umm, No

About 200 metres behind me ( I took that photo ) is where ....

I first fell off a bike
Grew my first tooth
Put the cat in a pillow case and swung it around the washing line
Jumped off the roof onto pot plants
Nailed the letter box shut
Crashed Dads car into the steps
Left the oven on for 2 days
Learned to walk
Learned to talk
Had my first hangover
Blamed my brothers for things I did
etc etc etc....

But today, it's where I told Mum I love her

again

Its hard to believe but this February already makes 2 years since having lost my mom. Though you will never stop thinking about her and missing her, the only words of solace that I can offer is that after about the first year or 18 months that "sharp edge" of sadness and missing you feel gradually begins to dull and does not cut as deep.
