I have a great deal of time for Jordan Peterson. I read his 12 Rules For Life book, and while I wasn't 100% on board with everything, I thought it showed a path to mature happiness that could be amazingly helpful to many.

He is (naturally) demonised by many on the left, particularly the gender hucksters but others too. It's a shame because his detractors have much to learn from him to put their own lives into context and order.

Most of what he says is "Pseudo Profound Bullshit" (PPBS), a term academics developed to describe things that sound clever but are in fact extremely obvious or just nonsense.

In other words he's just better at writing self help books full of obvious advice than the average word factory author. His supposedly profound philosophy is basically what he claims to hate - post modernism.

He questions the meaning of the words "do", "you", and "happen". For a guy who claims to understand pronouns and language, he seems to be struggling with words the average 4 year old has mastered. Of course, the real reason he does that is to avoid the question by spouting some nonsense that certain demographics will interpret as him being so far above the level of thinking of the interviewer as to have deconstructed her question and her use of the English language, but which most of us see for what it is - bullshit.

Actually it's because as a licenced, practising medical professional, he is expected to treat people in accordance with best practice and not mock and belittle them. Can't have it both ways, if he wants the backing of the medical professional standards bodies he needs to abide by their rules.

Ironically, that's something he regularly argues for too. People's behaviour should be shaped by "consequences" for misbehaviour, especially women. Just not people called Jordan Peterson, obviously.

14 people made complaints to the Ontario College of Psychologists, none of the 14 were patients of his.

He retweeted the Candian opposition leader
He said that climate data was not correct
Being a critic of the current Canadian PM
and so on ......

Shit like that, none of them had anything to do psychology

It stinks of leftist silencing by the current Canadian PM.
