A great and touching film just being released in 4K format.

Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle. One of rare times I find myself disagreeing with Rotten Tomatoes. Not for the faint of heart, but I really enjoyed this dark take on the story.

Man Vs. (2015)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3584354/

A TV survivalist starts the third season of his show in the Canadian wilderness, there's a few how to make a shelter, make fires, catch food but he hears a strange noise at night and the next morning sees a site where something seems to have crashed through and the lake is full of dead fish

It's pretty obvious what is out there but is it after more than food and a game of chess

I watched "Airport" (1970) for the hell of it - was on cable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Airport_(1970_film) It was a joy to watch the old time film actors Helen Hayes, Burt Lancaster, Barbara Hale and Van Heflin at work. Jacqueline Bisset stole the screen when she was on. Didn't even care whether the explosion and its effects were realistic or not.

Angry

I tried to watch First Man.

Turned it off after 27 minutes.

Who the fuck decided to cast Ryan Gosling as Neil Armstrong?

What an insult to the real Mr. Armstrong and to everyone who was involved in the Gemini and Apollo program in a race to beat the Commie Bastards to the moon.

Then add that we all read about how the director, a damn Frenchman who forgotten that the USA saved his country twice from becoming a permanently German speaking slave colony, decide to omit the USA flag planting on the moon scene, there is no reason for me to watch the rest of this disrespectful 2 hours and 12 minutes stinker!!

Should let buzz Aldrin have a sit down with the guy since he landed on the moon too, probably punch him in the face. Also yea between us and the grit that the Brits showed, canadians and Australians too in many ways, the French would have been up shit creek.

Megalodon (2018)
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8235660/

A Syfy channel movie rip off of The Meg (BluRay coming tomorrow)
Those pesky Russians are in a submarine and drilling into the ocean floor, their Captain a "do it my way" type of baddie insists they speed up the drilling, a few minutes later something big escapes and attacks the sub.
The something big as the title makes clear is a Megalodon shark, only this one is not like the scaled up Great Whites we normally see it is one ugly mother and it is pissed off

A sign of how rushed it was is to get it released in the US close to The Meg's release date is when the Captain addresses his new crew and tells them to remember the four principles ... Honour, Courage and Commitment.

Have a few laughs, enjoy the goofs and

Michael Madsen probably had a few days free and needed to fuel his cars up

Thinking about seeing The Mule.

But what's with the negative reviews?

Code:
https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_mule_2018/reviews/
One of the woman reviewers even said it's the worst film of the year.

Quote:
THE MULE is one of the worst films of the year. It's nothing more than a vehicle for Eastwood to have a good time singing and cavorting with much younger women.
This is Clint Eastwood we are talking about !!

The Academy Awards winning director and actor who has

Won 4 Oscars plus another 144 wins & 158 nominations.

One of the last of Hollywood's REAL actors and directors.

What a fucking ignorant bitch!

I bet she thinks the reality junk Real Housewives series on TV is quality.

Women shouldn't be movie critics reviewing big and deep intelligent theatrical movies - their tiny brains only like dumb shitty Lifetime movies and even at that, they still barely comprehend those television romance fluffs.
