Attention: There is a prevalent email scam happening everywhere where the sender claims to have a password to a site and demands money in some form. Ignore it, do not respond and at most change passwords on any sites you frequent.

Effective immediately, moving or animated GIFs are not allowed in signatures. If your signature has one, please remove or replace it asap. Staff will remove them as and when we see them without notice.

Sincerest apologies to everyone for the recent blackout. VEF and several of our sister forums had a major server malfunction. The database index is being rebuilt from scratch and may take at least several days to be fully restored. Expect major weirdness and lots of glitches in the meantime. Thank you all for your patience and understanding.

Unfortunately it seems that all of the posts made from the 13th March until the crash are permanently lost, please feel free to re-post any such material, apologies for this.

I use Firefox 61 on windows 10, try deleting your google and Youtube cookies and don't log back in. After that start solving the ReCaptcha. I don't know if it will solve the problem on your computer but i hope it works. With the cookies deleted and no trace of google and youtube i was able to solve the ReCaptcha with no problem. When i logged in to google i was having a hard time solving the ReCaptcha, and the click on the picture and a new one comes up was very slow and of course i could not solve it.
