Finding movie/video from scene or clip
What is the best way to find a movie or video from a clip or scene from that movie? Is it possible to find a movie that was seen over 10 years ago? Some of you out there appear to be experts in locating and identifying requests for information. Just want to learn the best way to find any movie regardless of when it was seen.
Thank you! |

The easiest way is to get involved with the Board in general, post comments, get 150 Thanks from other members, and then ask in the various ID threads.
It's also the most fun way - it can seem pretty daunting at first, but it doesn't take long in reality. There's literally thousands of threads in the Discussion forum, so go in there, find a subject you like, and chat. Upload some content if you've got new pics. I'd suggest reading the section rules first - they're stickied at the top of each section, and they'll explain why your first 3 posts have been taken down. We brought the 150 Thanks rule in so that members needed to show some commitment to the Board, rather than just treating it as an ID service like NameThatPornStar.

Once you have accumulated your 150 "Thanks" from other members . . . .
If you have a clip from a particular video, make some screen-caps that show a full-screen scene-setting (eg: performers shown against a full-room back-drop in the best light possible). Then make a screen-cap of the model you want to identify from that scene. Post those screen-caps with as much information that you can provide (include a search-phrase that might lead us to the "mystery" clip you are referencing. That usually gives us enought to track down the video, and ultimately may lead to a title, and a cast listing. |
