Video pixelation software
Can any member recommend an application (ideally freeware) which I can use to pixelate specific areas in a video? I use Windows Vista so it needs to be compatible with that. So, for instance, I might want to mask a static area in the frame (such as the originator's ID), or I might want to mask a moving image in the video such as a minor briefly appearing in a scene which otherwise contains only adult performers - which I can currently only achieve via an Avidemux deletion of that part of the scene.

The only option I know is free and it is Virtualdub in combination with the wipeout filter. You can find it in post 15 in this Videohelp thread:
http://forum.videohelp.com/threads/3...-in-virtualdub To be exact it's a blur filter.

There is option MPlayer Delogo at Avidemux. To activate filters with all their options you have to select convert instead copy at video track, e.g. MPEG-4 ASP (Xvid).
Resulting file may very big. To get back smaller size please use free software http://anonym.to/?http://www.chip.de..._42658474.html
