Ghostbusters (1984):
This is one of those films I could happily watch again and again and again. I think what it is is that it's one of those very few films that has got just about everything in it. It's funny, it's scary, it's got great dialogue, likable and endearing characters and a quite inventive and innovative storyline that, prior to 1984, had never been done before. Not only that, but it's just the right amount of all these ingredients to create just the right balance between them. And has we all know, this is something you very rarely see in the film industry, especially nowdays. |

Incidentally, Elmer Bernstein's film score in To Kill A Mockingbird is classic.

Citizen Kane. Unlike other 'classic films' too numerous to mention, CK has truly stood the test of time and is every bit as powerful as I remember.

The book by Cornelius Ryan is a good read. The scenes in the movie mostly come directly from the book. BTW, (spoiler) the paratrooper who lands in the well survives.
Cheers!

Films generally don't make me weep, but one that really wrecks me is the Fritz Lang 1931 sci-fi silent "Woman in the Moon." My fave silent by a lot.
Cheers!
