Has anyone read this - "How To Make Love Like a Porn Star. A Cautionary Tale"?

Quite a read, but I was wondering, who is "Preacher"? Surely this guy would be known and in prison/executed if what is said in the book is true?

For me, by the time Jenna Jameson really broke big and became the-then "world's #1 / biggest porn star" as she claimed, I was too old to be impressed (if I ever was) by such a thing.

I mean, she really became well-known in the mid-to-late 1990s, just as internet access was becoming widely available and affordable throughout residential areas. In some ways, to me she was the one of the last big stars of a pre-internet era. And was pretty unabashed about WANTING to be a big porn star; clearly she wasn't in the business for a brief time to make flicks for a few years then vanish into an anonymous life.

She managed to have a good decade long run eking out a fairly lucrative living by porn star standards, and also managed to leave the biz before the nature of it became less lucrative for the women appearing in it in terms of making porn flicks, anyway. I suppose by those standards and on those terms, she was successful.

All purely subjective, obviously, but I never thought much of her as far as skin flick women went. Mostly because I don't care for that bleach blonde, silicone-enhanced Los Angeles type look in smut actresses. I just never have. I think the other part of it was that by the time she really hit her zenith commercially, I was already 30 years old and had seen plenty of porn prior to her arrival on the scene: she didn't reinvent the wheel or anything, far as I was concerned.

This is actually really hard to stitch - at least for a PhotoShop Amateur/Part-Timer such as myself - for a few of reasons.

1) The scan is a bit rough (not awful but, not super-high-quality);
2) where the page split is is horrible (the super-dark lines are really bad, and the hand is totally chewed and that is really tough to re-create); and
3) the two pages are not color-matched so, everything must be blended (the arm and hand/belly areas - still kind way off and the hand is too "green" where the dark split line was).

Anyway, I'm sure someone with real PhotoShop skills can do a much better job, in way less time than I've spent on this but, here it is (so far).

I will likely keep working on this a bit, just because it's a fun challenge. If I do, I will update the uploaded image, if/when it improves, unless you folks tell me that it's just not worth pursuing.

In WTBA 7 S7 BTS When asked if this was her 1st Vivid Shoot Jenna says "No I've done one with Dyanna Lauren in On Her Back, I did one with Celeste in Exposure and I did one of my own called After Dark"

My question is, does anybody know what "After Dark" got released as?

I know it is not "Comedy After Dark" that is much later.

Any info would help, even if it proves my stupidity!

Jameson by EVERY measure was the most famous and popular pornstar in the world in mid-late 1990's.

She was also the highest paid, which meant she got upwards of $10,000 a scene and that was without having to do anything vile and gross like buttfucking or butthole to mouth.

She didn't need to go parading around with a bullhorn proclaiming she was #1, the trade magazines did that job for her and without being asked, as did the fans.

She was the first active pornstar to ever host a mainstream non porn show on tv in the United States when she hosted an episode of E!'s Wild On.

When she first retired she was worth a couple million, then she made a deal with Playboy for a couple of strip clubs that got her another $25,000,000.

Sadly she has turned into a MAGA climate change denier.

You certainly seem to have some bizarre hate on for her.

Nah. Not a hate scene regarding her in the least.

Basically just what I originally said:

1. Some of it was just the timing of when she hit it big in the mid to late 1990s, and the whole notion of her being 'the world's biggest pornstar' was less than impressive to me than it might have been prior to that, which ties into...

2. Just a visceral reaction, in that her LA bleach blonde look was never one that did much for me. It had been the same case with Savannah before Jenna. More of an indication of my own personal taste than anything else. That being said, it is my own personal taste that matters most to me.

I won't say Jenna Jameson was unattractive, or she didn't work hard for her success. Her image WAS ubiquitous in terms of smut from the late 1990s through the early 2000s. I never quite understood why (re: personal taste).

Perhaps if she HAD done some buttfucking or butthole to mouth I would have held her higher esteem than I do
