Although they're as venomous as tiger and brown snakes, underwater they're generally not aggressive. But the general advice is that if you hook one cut the fishing line. This poor bloke was working on a fishing trawler and one got caught in the net he was hauling in.

In more salubrious news Kevin, Daylight Savings started here at 2:00am this morning. It's funny but when I was one of the working class I hated it with a passion, but now I'm retired I think it should run from the first Sunday in October to the first Sunday in May. Go figure.

We are thinking of dumping it here in California. Too many freeway accidents during the changeover weeks for one thing.

And in Gee Town, Geelong , not much happened again
That's how it got it's nickname of Sleepy Hollow But, Peter's Smallgoods which closed down recently after 40 plus years was bought and opened again by what I'm told is an Asian bloke who's name ain't Peter though he kept the store's name (probably cheaper to keep the signage ) and the meat and smallgoods he sells is from what I was told is just as good as old Pete's There were not 1 but 2 speed cameras operating on the Ring Road on Friday And Corio Village Shopping Centre is still a dump, but of you thought that might be bad, take my word for it, you should see Labuan Square shops And, there are now more parking spaces along the shops on Seppo (Separation Street) makes it easier when I manage to visit one of my clubs That's it

Kevin here. Estreeter, loosegoose said that all this info about what's happening in Geelong is stuff you're just making up. I hope that aint true, because if it is it means that I will have to take a trip to Geelong and track you down. You once said that you would not ever want to see another member at your house except palo5. What if someday you get a knock on your door and when you open the door there in the flesh is the one and only trailmaster. You might go bonkers. That being said-now you might have nightmares about me coming out to your private little heaven "down under"!

Land of compulsory government 'surveys' where non-compliance can cost $500 a day. Currently have two i'm not doing.
The first I heard of it was yesterday in a news feed, but as it featured tired old Queen, 'shock jock' radio host Alan Jones I avoided reading it.
Quote from readers comments (as per usual the comments are every bit as interesting)_... Quote:
Apparently hypochristian 'Scumo' is all for it also. https://au.news.yahoo.com/premier-de...3508--spt.html Hardly surprising as Mr Morrison, when Tourism Australia director in the mid-2000s, oversaw the controversial ad campaign 'Where the fcuk are ya'? (or words to that effect). How much did Racing NSW threaten to withhold from the Liberal Party in political donations for the next state election? |

Is that the one we taxpayers were paying a shitload to subsidise, Good riddance sez I. Anyhoo in more interesting news, I went down to Malop Street this morning to see my Financial Advisor. I had to park miles away up near Johnstone Park and, here you'll sympathise with me Kevin, I had to walk for ten minutes in a bitterly cold 22'C.
