My Dad loves Marmite-he makes a soup or drink out of it but doesn't like sprouts. It is an interesting combination but then Walkers Crisps(that's potato chips to you in US) have come out with a complete Christmas Dinner in three flavours including Turkey

One thing the Army used to serve up was small roast or fried potatoes swirled in marmite. Nothing overpowering just roasties with a hint of marmite.

So an MP named Lloyd Russell-Moyle, who is a member of the Labour party grabbed the Mace in the House of Commons and people there went semi batshit, as this is apparently to put it in a semi british manner, 'just not done.'

Which, sure.

But what level of batshit frothing at the mouth level outrage is this? Is it like burning the flag is to many people here in the US? And why is it such a huge deal that he did this.

Oh I must say that I ADORE "Question time with the PM.

" I watch it every Sunday on the C-Span and then imagine what it would be like if Trump had to do the same thing.

The mace represents the queen and is only moved by one of the gofers in tights when she is opening that shithouse. If it leaves the chamber then parliament is suspended by default. Moving it draws massive attention and is an effective ploy by this twat to highlight parliamentary procedures are not being practised or circumvented.
