I suggest using portable hard drives that come with encryption software. Have a collection of them. Works well if you are collecting lots of stuff, not just porn, and especially if your spouse isn't into a lot of the stuff you watch.

So you are often downloading stuff about mixed martial arts, or cars, sports, whatever. Some really nerdy science fiction is best.

You have multiple collections and you password protect all the hard drives you use (because these are pirated videos you downloaded from the internet and you don't want to get into trouble). And of course it is cheaper to use multiple hard drives than archive everything on CD/DVD so the most secure way is to have more than one drive with the same stuff. So you have backups somewhere in the house.

Now you use a different password for the stuff you don't want to be found.

In case of emergency, or if you have a longer period of decline, you don't have to worry.

Whoever cleans up all your stuff will find your original legitimate collection to which they may or may not have the password (probably won't but your wilfe will identify them as your UFC collection, or whatever). Maybe no one can open the drives because just you had the password. Sad.

Later they find the real backups and, somewhere else, even more backups. But they don't have the passwords. All they can do is reset/reformat the hard drives to re-use them but your "amazing UFC collection" is just lost to the ages.

And your collection is accessible for as long as you remember the password. And anyone who doesn't know or can't guess your password can't open the hard drives to see what is on them. And if your spouse finds them they are just more hard drives like the ones you have lying around in the computer room.

But the beauty of this is that the people you don't want to know about the porn know you have loads of something they think is weird but that you enjoyed - why some nerdy interest is best - and will just assume that every encrypted hard drive was just that. Maybe someone might speculate that you had some illicit collection hidden in all this - but without anyone actually finding the videos it is just speculation. They can remember you the way you were with them.

Your secret is safe from everyone except the NSA (and if you're married to someone from the NSA, I'm sorry but they probably already know everything you downloaded anyway ;-).

I have over 4,000 photos of big tit women from all age groups that I have printed up from vef, tumblr sites and other big boob websites. I have over 200 photos of Milena Velba alone. If I were to die I am sure my relatives would just throw all that stuff away. It has no monetary value.

To those of you of the "your dead what does it matter" brigade, one question. If your stash includes pictures and/or vids of you and your partner enjoying your leisure time, would you want your children (if you have them) or other relatives to find it?

Clearly if your partner is involved and only one of you go the other can clean up, but if you go together.......

For those of you with a computer programming leaning, i would like some security software that automatically deep cleans and hard drives when connected that fail a password request, or a computer that is constantly on and sends timely reminders of the same ilk. If you miss three reminders without a response, deep cleaning occurs. I imagine there is something out there, cos I am reliably informed that "everything" is on the Internet.

I have only filled about eight of 24 I have on my top shelf. Eventually, I am going to have 1 print per 5 original files of the ones I have downloaded and put into directories for further processing. This would be enough to fill the binders.

These binders might eventually need a disclaimer page placed before the first folder, to explain the purpose of the binders and/or why I think collecting porn should be legal.

Or if I get married to a girl who looks like one of the models, I might sell the binders plus my backup Flash drives on eBay, then use the proceeds to buy her jewelry or V.S. lingerie.

Or maybe it would be a "gift" to be given away at my bachelor party?

Hate to disappoint, but yeah, you can die. Over a decade ago a friend died. A couple of years earlier he mentioned that if he went first, I was to go through his phone and call everyone's number to tell them the news. And by the way, get rid of the porn before his daughter found it. We were just 40 at the time. He was gone not so very long after.

After the funeral I discovered that his daughter already knew of his collection. He was divorced, and she visited his apartment occasionally. She was aware of more than we knew! Also his mother knew of the movie of he and his then-wife having sex. That revelation made me blush.

I tried to do my duty. I erased his browser history and scrubbed his hard drive of pictures. I boxed and bagged his magazine collection. I got rid of the used and crusty washcloth I found under his bed. (ulkh.)

We're all gonna die some time. Live life and plan accordingly.

I'm 63 and have been collecting off and on for about 20 years. I think I have about 100 gigs. Pardon the pun, but my interest seems to go in spurts. My wife knows about - I told her before we were married - and she'll dump it all-jpegs and videos- when I'm gone. Sometimes momma thinks I need a little inspiration and will tell me to break out the girls! She loves Rocco Siffredi, so I've told her when I go, she needs to hire someone like him as the poolboy.

I've worried that we might both kick the bucket at the same time in a car accident or something, the kids will see my stash. My wife says "who cares?" I must suffer from that good 'ole Catholic guilt.

I've been thinking of just encrypting a folder so no one could open it.
