My son bought me two of these. The first I shared with him after a great night in the pub. Cider and a takeaway curry. Magic.

Tonight I opened the other one. All for myself. It has a kick.

Today's drink is from Poland: Lomza Pelne Malt Liquor pours a golden brown with a small head which disappears quickly. Alcohol content 6.2%. Tastes of apple, pear, honey, sweet malt and some hop bitterness. Just ok overall.

That's right kids....Henry's Hard Grape Soda.

My beautiful, better half dragged a rack of this home from the local grocer the other evening, and was instantly impressed. Mind you, this is a woman whom makes her own Kahlua with 110 proof Vodka so, to say she's easily impressed would be a misnomer. Ha ha...what a scamp.

Okay, enough of my bloviation.....on to the review!
I sampled one myself, it's 4.2% alcohol, and tastes like grape Kool-Aid (do they still make that shit, or does Kool-Aid need to be explained as well?

). It'll make a fantastic chaser for those of you that over indulge in the distilled spirits, and if you throw a rack, or two of this down the throat of the comely, young, nubile that you've been pursuing, methinks you'll get yer "just rewards" provided she doesn't pass out.
