You might be right.

My only reservations are my inability to find any "telling" matches, e.g. the faint spot to (her) right of mystery's chin, mole above mystery's right boob near armpit, or matching mystery's rings, etc. Any other views on this suggestion, anyone?

There are similarities, but I'm not seeing a match overall.
Their lips actually seem to match, but it could be the heavy lipstick.
Eyes are pretty close.
I don't think the noses match, but I'm not sure if I can detail any obvious differences.
Maybe I can take a closer look.

There does seem to be a slight gap between Monika's 2 upper front teeth that Kathy doesn't have. Maybe Monika got it fixed, but it would probably would take some time.
The spots Effie detailed don't seem to match either.
I think I see an additional spot to the side of Monika's left eye.
There's no straight on shots of it, so it's hard to see clearly, but pretty sure I see it in a couple of the Monika scans.
We do get a straight on look at the left side of Kathy's face, and it seems totally clear.
Maybe the spots on Monika's face are pimples that went away, but I don't think so.
Areolas look a different to me, but maybe they are close enough.
Breasts are pretty close overall, but I'm not really seeing a match there.
Nothing really solid, so I could be wrong, but I don't think Monika is Kathy.
