I know I've been doing my fair share of slamming their servers. I've been off work since Tuesday taking some vacation days and I've been going all over the different forums I'm a member off scouring them for anything I think I want to save plus trying to get stuff off of here.

My posts here I still have the pics on my computer so I will go back after the deadline and redo them.

I just updated IIIU to the latest version (3.1.3) and tried to upload to pixhost.to - no go, I get a "No download links" error.

ImageVenue is giving me problems too. Some days it refuses the upload connection.

Hotflick worked fine all day Friday for me, but now on Saturday morning I am once again receiving that "dir not found" message following an upload.

Is any other Hotflick user experiencing this same issue, or is it just me and my system? I don't believe the issue has anything to do with bad or corrupt images because later when Hotflick comes back those same images upload perfectly.
Prior to experiencing this issue in the past couple of days I had been using Hotflick for about 4-5 days without incident. Could this issue possibly be a server overload due to the masses of people worldwide using Hotflick to rescue their material from Imagebam and Imgbox?

I like Hotflick, they are pretty simple and straightforward to use, and I like their 180x180 thumbnail format, but if this intermittent issue is what to expect from them it does not instill my confidence in them becoming my main image host.

I can't get Pimp and Host to work correctly. I am selecting 150 images to upload, then when I try to add them to the post, it tells me there are over 300 (and so I can't post)

Anyone else getting this? I have tried logging out and back in, but it doesn't fix it

They announced it at their website.

Yes, but that announcement has vanished, and they accept uploads again.

And maybe ImageBam have also changed their mind, this is how their website looks currently:

I'm sorry to know that its happening to you, but I am relieved to find that I am not the only one.

Info: Saturday afternoon ... I was going along quite well for a time and then all of a sudden out of the blue I began receiving that frustrating "dir not found" message.
I must say that it follows a pattern --mornings, afternoons, and nights.

If anyone is familiar with Hotflick I wonder if they could please let us know, or venture a guess, as to why that issue keeps cropping up.

If you are using the pimpandhost plug-in embedded in the VEF Forum software,(the blue Browse button), you are at risk of encountering problems with galleries of more than, say, 50 images. The images will upload quite quickly, but you will then enter a "processing" loop that never ends . . . and frequently indicates twice as many images in the queue.

I'm not sure what causes that problem, other than the fact that your upload is competing for server time with all the other "anonymous" unregistered users attempting to access P&H at the same time. Also, any images that upload successfully will not appear in a gallery, and you will never be able to find them again.

The solution is to register at pimpandhost (it is free . . . just like at VEF), and begin uploading galleries under your P&H User Name. Not only will you be able to find the images at some future date, but the upload speed is usually pretty good. Sometimes when P&H is experiencing high server loads the "processing" loop can slow considerably. When this happens, and I do not want to wait to to upload 150 images, I build the gallery by uploading several batches of 30 images over the course of 5 or 10 minutes.

Sorting the gallery, and generating the 180 pixel thumbnail BB Code is also very easy. Just copy and paste the thumbnail BB Code into your post at VEF.
