Imagehost Problems, Imagebam, Imagevenue, PimpAndHost, PixHost, ImgBox etc - Page 171

Greetings ....

If anyone here uses Opera to browse and view images from PimpAndHost (among others), then perhaps you may have had an experience where all of a sudden you can not enter keyboard text into any field (title box, message area, search box, etc).

I had this happen to me, and eventually I narrowed down the cause to a pair of 3rd party URLs found within several PimpAndHost image pages I had linked to.

I'm not exactly sure which of the two is the actual culprit so I have blocked both. The URL's are ....

https://ab.advertiserurl.com/*
http://www.freefuckbuddydating.com/*

Once I had added these to my custom filter list, I had no further issues in so far as entering keyboard text in Opera.

Imgbox had recently developed a problem (the first I can recall in quite some time) -- Some thread pics and set pics I posted over the past several days had "disappeared". I never notified them, but they must have been aware of and remedied the problem because I've noticed that the missing pics have now mysteriously reappeared and been restored.
Just thought I would pass along this info to you.

Is there a "work around"?

I am not getting anywhere, short of asking a poster to re post material again using imagebam etc.

Since PaH is blocked in my country,which is Sweden,I use the proxy suggested by the member that did the above post.
It works very well for me,but maybe there´s other ways around it.

You can use any proxy but its not the total solution

I've used both and they suit those wanting to pick and choose one pic at a time

surely it's not just me, that the majority of the pics hosted by imagebam
take anywhere from 15 seconds to a full minute to load......is it?
