To be honest, it works fine for me.

I don't use a lot of add-ons/extensions though. I understand the frustration of those who do and they're not working anymore.

I got the upgrade yesterday and after I figured out a few things it worked okay except for two things. Even with the open new window in a new tab instead checked I have to right click and select open in new tab. Not all that bad but....
The second one does piss me off some. I now have lost the ability to left click on a blank subject line like in an e mail, PM, or such and get the last few entries to show up.

I've installed Pale Moon with No Script 5.0.6. Apparently from 5.1.2 onwards the icon won't show up in the browser. They are working on a fix for it.

"Where's NoScript for Firefox 57 "Quantum"?

2017-11-14: We're working hard to make NoScript for Quantum available to you as soon as possible, definitely by the end of this week.

Please be patient: if you feel naked while you're waiting for the "brand new" NoScript, you can still use the "regular" NoScript 5.x (and all the other extensions of yours) on Firefox 52 ESR, which will receive security updates until June 2018. See you soon!"

I hope they will fix flashgot too.

ublock origin works with Quantum.

Well, I'm using now uMatrix and uBlock Origin (as an equivalent to Adblock Plus). Not sure yet if they're reliable as well.

I'm still looking for equivalent (free) download helpers like DownThemAll or ImageHost Grabber!

I've been using uBlock Origin for over a year now and I like it more than ABP.

I've got my FF upgraded to Quantum. I miss No-Scipt though. ABP still works okay. Overall it's a tad quicker than the previous FF version. I'll probably use both Quantum and Chrome in the meantime just to see which is best for me.

EDIT: No, Quantum is much worse for using on this site than the previous version of FF. I shall be using Chrome.

According to the DownThemAll website the rewrite for Quantum is at least a month away.

And I'll be surfing like a virgin until NoScript is made compatible.
