Obsolete vibrator types
Looks like some vibrator designs are not around any more. Like this one, mains powered, from the time that batteries were rare, expensive and ...large.
Did this thing died because it required a wire and proximity to a mains outlet, let alone safety issues? Or was it something else? Sure looks cool though... Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

And how about this spiked type? What was the problem with this one? Maybe the plastic spikes broke off after prolonged use and ended up in the wrong place or something?
Who knows... Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

Then of course we have the Coca-Cola bottle. This one is gone for good, however it served its purpose well, sometimes even before drinking the contents of it.
Besides being replaced by the aluminum can, could there be other reasons that made this nice thing go away after appearing in many photosets? Free Image Hosting by ImageBam.com |

I agree, only the spiked type may be obsolete. As to the coke bottle, they are still produced in the glass containers but in far more limited numbers than in years past but they are still available.

Hi,
I still have and use (often) one similar to the one below. It also offers infra-red heat as well as a slow and fast vibration. Believe me, it's still one of my favorites. I cum with it every time I use it. Kisses, Kathy |

Futuro,

And I can personally attest that it is highly effective for its intended purpose. I've had several girlfriends absolutely fall in love with it. It does plug into a wall outlet which makes it significantly more powerful than a battery operated unit. |

SexxxyKathy's favorite is very similar to the one my wife prefers, only I believe ours is a Sunbeam (as sold in the US).

The square cased one in the first set is still being sold. I recently seen one under the Wahl name. Most other knockoffs of the moving coil design are rounded and sleeker, but much the same inside. My wife has one under the name of Conair brand that she bought about 12 years ago. Main reason she liked it was it was so quiet in comparison to the unbalanced motor designs.
The old style, white ribbed vibrators that you used to see advertised in the back of every magazine and mail order catalog are vanishing. Muler's post shows a large one inside a sleeve. Those were about the only kind that you seen in porn from the 60's thru the 80's either alone or inside a sleeve. |
