Code for ' having sex '

I remember in the sixties when I was quite young, that if any local lads asked a girl to go with him "down the fields" it wasn't to play football. Our local recreational area was about 5 acres of unkept grass with a brook running along side. It was in the long grass that many 'conceptions' were made whether intended or not. So if a girl was asked to go "down the fields" and she didn't know what it meant it would have been quite a surprise. As it happened on one occasion me and a group of lads from 9 to 16 went to the fields to play cricket. One of the youngest had a 14 yr old sister who asked if she could go "down the fields" with us. Imagine some of the ideas that went through our minds. She did and we did.
What was your code to sneak off for a bunk up?
