He does have a habit of being in the right place at the right time. Shame Stirling Moss and Chris Amon didn’t have that back in their careers.

Whilst I tend to agree with your view, if they did release him, in the short or medium term he’s nowhere to go that can give him the car he needs. The changes at the very top of Ferrari’s parent company may make life a bit interesting for the team.

Anyway, it's the same old shit every year, so why bother watching when you know how it will end...

I remember reading about his death in the newspapers on the Monday morning after the event. I was 17.

I wasn't very surprised! Back in those days one expected racing drivers to die in action.

It was horrible but it's what made F1 "special".

I think that at the end of the season Ferrari should think about firing Vettel. He has thrown away two championships in a row because he can't handle the pressure. I'm starting to believe and agree with those who say he had a lucky spell at Red Bull because he had no competition. He clearly can't handle the pressure. Schumacher would have never done a mistake like that. I can't forgive this one from Vettel because it's another title lost because of him.

I think you’re right, it is ridiculous...to suggest that Hamilton’s success is based on luck. And yes, Vettel did make an mistake but that doesn’t make him a poor driver. And, as some others have tried to suggest, it also doesn’t mean that he can’t handle the pressure. Emotions are high immediately after a race but some objectivity wouldn’t go amiss regardless of whose corner you’re in.

It's easy to win championships in the best car. Marcus Ericsson would have won all of them if he'd been at Mercedes for the last four years.

If today's race isn't the proof for you that Hamilton is lucky, I don't know what it takes for you to open your eyes. Starting 14th and winning because your rival crashes is luck, that's it. Even when he has problems, he always find himself at the right place, at the right time. I can't wait for that guy to retire, the only person who enjoy his wins is himself and he's making F1 look like a boring sport.

I’ll just say this....

Unfortunately, the best car usually wins. See Senna, Prost, Mansell, Hill, Schumacher, Vettel, Hamilton, Villneuve...

Ferrari are supposed to have the best car this year but with an error prone number 1 driver, there's no championship in sight....10 years and counting...
