EFL Championship starts a week before the Prem .... August 3rd - a Friday

As you will know Vic....

With at least 10 Championship clubs _ embargoed from transfers.. but only Blues made public... there you go....

... could be disaster for other posh clubs... when I say "posh"... I mean them... not us... we ain't posh

I think the EFL Championship is going to be very unusual this year.

FFP has curtailed the registration of players through many clubs in all Divisions
... it's their Minimum Sanction.

And has resulted in a DEATH in Transfer activity... dosh-changing-hands-etc

Upward Only transfers... and very few for money/profit ..negligible to the Prem,

Interesting Year... as FFP may DESTROY the Infrastucture of Footie.

Be interesting Vic... to do Championship 1st.... and last, next May 2019.

But that depends how Lens gets on...

As for the money spending, Sullivan has always maintained we are a long term goal and his offspring will one day run the club, a scary moment for any sane person.

For me the three run a football club in the wrong way and are fairly clueless regarding the sport, but are no mugs where money is involved. All the spending can only be based on an influx of money, otherwise I believe it would have been the usual one major , a couple of minor signings and the usual loan deals.
