Barbara Broccolli has stated that there is no way James Bond will be played by a woman-in her eyes it was written about a man by a man and it is inconceivable to her that it could be anything else.


Meanwhile there is speculation in The Times that the name James Bond might not have come from the author of a bird book but an S.O.E.(Special Operations Executive) operative called James Charles Bond - but most people think it is the author that is the more credible.

According to Corinne's Wikipedia entry it was Octopussy- she was apparently one of the dancers seen in silhouette- I've watched it on youtube, but at first sight can't pick her out:

IMDB doesn't seem to include the dancers/models in the title sequence in it's listing of credits- but there are a few other names listed amongst the 'Octopussy Girls' who would be very familiar to fans of late 70's/early 80's Page 3!

Yes, the swimming pool scene is a "target rich environment" for p 3 girls, including a few - like Kim Mills - "acting". Thanks for the reminder on the credits, but yes, if it is Corinne, blowed if she is distinguishable. If only there were BTS pics like Anna Noble's!

Great presence, assured sophistication, that Craig lacks...{ not his fault, he is playing the "physcho- Bond" in a post modern world... after the "Bourne" series wiped out the campy-spy-film at the Box Office... e.g. Bond}

Cary G would have been as effective as Mr Bean in this New World of sociopaths and psychopaths being HEROES.

Possibly only Connery could have been as senseless and without empathy in a portrayal of the new Bond... none of the others could carry it off.

Bond cannot be a woman, cannot be other than a white Brit.
007 however, can be any gender, ethnicity but would have to be a Brit.
That the Broccolis, (American) seem to intuitively grasp this is a delight in this PC afflicted times.
