DC honestly should have done a hard reboot if they wanted to be serious about it, but instead I consider the New 52 a soft reboot if anything since it kept alot of past storylines in play. Problem is, that line of thinking gets them in trouble everytime. I just have to point out the whole Zero Hour event having to be brought forth, due to not everyone being on the same page following Crisis on Infinite Earths.

DC's continuity leaves alot to be desired.

But yeah, Marvel NOW! isn't a reboot. Just alot of shifting around with the status quos. Though they are taking a cue from DC and putting out alot of #1's in the hopes of getting more readers.
