Most banned members have all of their posts removed. It's the exception that a banned member's posts stay. But there occasionally comes a member where removing all of their posts immediately isn't the best choice and it is easier to do just as you suggested. Hence horsroh and lds17lp.
Most? That doesn't seem too accurate to me. From my observations,
the only posts removed by a banned member, were most likely posts
that got them banned to begin with. All others seem to have remained,
the majority of the time, rather than occasionally. Seems pretty odd
actually. If a person is deemed unfit to be a member, than how can
their posts be? Doesn't make sense does it?.....from a moral standpoint anyways.

Trust me, we remove a lot more than we leave at least in Classic Movies.... we do leave some there if the links in the post are the only live ones available. Having something available even on a lousy host is better that not having it available at all. Many times, if another member posts the same material on a preferred host later, we'll remove the banned member's post at that time.

In that case, you must be correct.

Congratulations.

It's also an question of workload for the mods. Removing 100s of posts, perhaps distinguishing between working posts and crap will undoubtedly take a lot of time. But eventually most of them are removed. Even so-called breadposters might on occasions post useful stuff and since killing links at their source means less cash a lot of them will keep their posts active even when banned. So it makes sense to keep some posts. It's also my impression that threads in time are updated with preferred links.

As for the moral standpoint. You can be a saint for most of your life but after committing a "crime" you might still have to go to jail. It doesn't mean everything you did up to that point is morally reprehensible.

The "moral" comment, was directed towards VEF...not the poster
Seems like it's saying that a person's posts are good enough for here,
but not them. Know what I mean?

As far as "preferred links" go......if a file host is allowed at all here, it's
the poster's prerogative as to what link is preferred. If that choice isn't
in VEF's list..... anyone can mirror them anyways.....right? So good for
everyone I guess. Just seems to me, that if a person is banned, then
any records of them ever being here oughta be wiped away. Kinda like
records in sports. Anyone banned in virtually any sport, has has no mention
at all in the records.

Wasn't a thing misleading about what I said Jenny lol.I made a general
statement, whether he was a mod in the videos section or any section,
or not a mod at all lol. I didn't claim to be right 100% of the time......just
most, and was said out the the side of my mouth anyways Now that
I think about it though, it wasn't too long ago that I was wrong about something.
Just not today.

So, what is the percentage of those who are banned that still have their posts up?

I'm sure your observations are more precise than those who would use lesser means, such as the actual data, to make such contrary claims.
