White stuff on genitalia?

In some, not all, but very few, vintage movies, specially from late 1980's, you might have noticed that some white stuff seems to start coming out of vagina after a few strokes of vaginal sex. This stuff is suspiciously similar to male ejaculation or semen. It is too frequent in the movie called The Horneymooners. This starts off as some white sticky fluid on penis and, in some instances, you can see it coming directly of vagina.

Can someone with some insight tell me what that white stuff actually is? I read somewhere by a fairly modern pornstar that it is some sort of germicide to prevent infection but that also suspicious and a huge turn off as audience.

I can think of several possibilities.

Some actresses preferred not to use the pill for birth control. What you are seeing could be a spermicide (which could explain why you heard it was a germicide). As well, some actresses who were on the pill also used a spermicide. I think Nina Hartley was one of those.

Another possibility is that you are just seeing a combination of bodily fluids and lubricants that are being churned up. I know that they used to use a lot of mineral oil and even baby lotion. Those are not water based (like the K-Y line of products), so they will not be absorbed as easily and will foam when you agitate them.

It could actually be semen. It wasn't unheard of for an actor to lose control and cum inside the actress. Since most productions back then were produced on film, and film is and was very expensive, they couldn't afford to completely re-shoot the scene. You hear a lot of actors and actresses talking about having to get it right in one take.
