Gathering references for a planned post with another actress from Seinfeld, my attention was caught by this lady:



In this fourth season episode ("The Pick," 1992), Calvin Klein executives are inspecting Kramer's potential as a model. (As a side note, our lady would appear with "Kramer" eight years later, in the "Consultant" episode of the short-lived The Michael Richards Show, where the Seinfeld star played a private investigator.)



Blaire Baron wasn't on screen for long, and did not even have a close-up; so what made my antenna go up? It's hard to explain, but I detected a "kick"; there was a certain quality to her face.

The following year after Seinfeld, she appeared in an hour-and-a-half TV movie that was the pilot for Babylon 5, called "The Gathering." The early to mid-nineties were busy years for Ms. Baron, and her screen career had only begun in 1990 (when she was twenty nine). Yet it doesn't appear she landed any big roles (judging from a cursory look at her IMDb page).



I don't know what show the above shot is from, although the actor beside her is probably Lane Davies; on the surface, Santa Barbara (from 1992) promises to be a good guess, but that's not it. She looked especially attractive.

I was happy Wendigo began this thread devoted to Ms. Baron (in 2011), although notice how no one contributed anything else until SanteeFats came along seven years later. (Seven years!) Observing what has been offered in the first three posts, the only revealing views of consequence were offered in Post #1 (which Wendigo thankfully re-upped; otherwise, we would have nothing "fleshy" of the actress at all).

Blaire does not seem to have wished to make a point of accentuating her feminine charms. Yet as you may see from the shot below, the lady cuts a fine figure; it's not just her striking face.



She worked fairly steadily until 2006-08, and then returned five years later to play the role of a mother in a comedy feature film; save for a few subsequent short films, that seems to have been that. Blaire has dabbled in writing and producing, a key documentary being Women in Boxes from 2008, about magicians' female assistants (where the famously mute Teller of Penn & Teller spoke up, as claimed, for the only time).

It appears she has shifted direction to the stage, and has become a kind of grande old dame of the arts. A Shakespearean troupe with the accent on kid performers is something she founded, and the Los Angeles Drama Club keeps her busy as an artistic director.



Now over sixty, and that face seen above still turns heads.



Has an "Eileen Brennan" flavor, although only in the sense that Eileen (pictured at left) also had an unusual face (both actresses began their screen careers at around the same age, interestingly), but Eileen (who was wickedly talented; remember her as the drill sergeant in Private Benjamin?) had a worn and weary look to her. Perhaps cruel to say (and what may serve as a kind of corroboration is that Eileen Brennan has sadly been almost totally avoided on Vintage Erotica Forum), but Blaire Baron has the special combo of "great face" and "beauty."

While watching a full-length episode of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In (S01.E08, 1968) on YouTube, a lady came on screen, and I felt she looked interesting... and alluring.



Imagine my surprise when she turned out to be Eileen Brennan (she was a regular on this show, appearing in six episodes). And after I sort of knocked her above, for not being all that sexy. Well, do I have egg on my face.
