Missing Pictures in a Post

A user makes a post and includes comments about the attached image, hoiwever, I don't see the image.

Does the forum software automatically filter out certain images?
Is there an account setting I need to change?

I'm at a loss, any help will be appreciated.

Occasionally, where the pictures come from (filehosts) have periods of re-configuring the servers & running maintainance, images might not appear consistently. Check them later , see if they re-appear.

Some may of course be just old, dead or defunct links

Oddly enough, you are one of the members who's pictures never show in their post. It has also happened on occasion with NinjaTurtle.

Your point about the filehost is probably the answer. When I get a chance I'll compare the Ninja posts which work against those that don't.

Could be just a timing issue with the filehost when they don't show?

Today, any time I encountered a pic post with no image I did a right click and selected 'view page source'. I then did a search in the page source for an attached image. So far all of the missing images have been posted to Pimpandhost.com

I think pimpandhost.com has a filter on TOR browsers as even when I enabled javascript the image wouldn't display. When I get a chance I'll try the same image links via my FireFox browser and if it works I'll know for sure.

as soon as you mentioned Pimp&Host... it can be one of the most troublesome pichosts
especially for Australians should that be your location

try another browser though

P & H is blocked in both Australia & Finland (read it somewhere)

Either way trying a proxy with a decent browser might help

I simple search on google will tell you the issue is the tor browser

It cant handle the same volume of images as others so it times out
Thats been the case for eons let alone in the high res pics era

I'm using Gladys Allova's post from here :

for the "view page script". I added anonym.to/ to the original link :

it takes me to the page, however, even with javascript enabled for Pimpandhost.com no picture.

The TOR browser is using the path :
this browser->United States->France->Netherlands->internet.
Does the Netherlands block Pimpandhost?

I repeated the tests with the second Pimpandhost link :

and I cannot ge past that $#%& cloudflare security check which I happen to know is always triggered by TOR browsers.

I just did a quick test with FireFox and the original Pimpandhost address displayed an animated gif and the longer 'filesor.com' address was a small jpg. So it appears Pimpandhost does filter out TOR browsers.
