Thanks mrdata for the post and the re-issue of 'Matinaee Idyll' in a sister thread. Viewing the Julian and Kelly pictorial I've always wondered why there's a difference b/w number of images, frame to frame and gaps in the sequence compared to other sets. Some sets have 50 or 60 images eg S*ze Randa#l, or even Ea*l Mi//er, while some have only 20 or so eg Jack Harri*son or Phi/ip Mond..why is this? Are there other frames not published, yet to be published? Or does it depend on the photographer/studio format or style of shooting scenes?
There's also a difference between 'original' printed versions and web release, but as with 'Matinaee Idyll' there's not much if any difference between print and re-issue versions. Why is this?
Mond and Harrison's couples work are faves, but there's very little available of either...so is there a trove? or is it just they weren't as prolific as others?

If I remember correctly, this set was also released on EM's site few years ago and possibly had more pictures or slightly different ones. Not sure why though. Perhaps PH wanted it this way, but again, I don't know the reasons. Looks like EM is now retired, but he was their "in house" photographer for many years.

I have also noticed that PH original web releases (from around 2005 or so) have often different images compared to what they release now in 1600px resolution. Why don't they simply rescan the entire set from the original films? No idea, tbh. Maybe these will be released separately, or maybe they don't have some of these films any longer. I've heard for example, that many Guccione films were sold on auctions.

Just my 2 cents.
