Are pop-up adevrts monitored?

I've just been looking through a thread and I got the usual pop up advert screen when I clicked on a picture. Normally I just click on " continue to image" and that's that but this particular page contained an image of a girl that looked very young and no way 18 years of age

Are these adverts previewed before they are added to a thread/ image?

This forum has no control over popup ads generated at the picture host side.

From what I have been told in the past, the most commonly used picture sites at this forum only display ads from sites that have age verification records on file.
