Blake Heron, who played Marty Preston in 1996’s Shiloh, has died at the age of 35, according to TMZ.

The former actor’s girlfriend found him dead at his Los Angeles area home on Friday morning, law enforcement tells the website. He was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene, after paramedics failed to revive him.

Don Williams 78 and Troy Gentry at 50 have passed away.

I met Don Williams on a couple of occasions.. A friend of mine runs a tour management company with which I got involved for a short while after I took retirement. Having "Access All Areas" back stage access, it was easy enough to get to meet loads of musicians and Don Williams was one of them.

Both times I spoke to him he came over as a quietly spoken gentleman.

His stage presence was fantastic and he rightly commanded a good audience. He will be sadly missed.

I´ve just heard that Swedish comedian, actor, writer, director Hasse Alfredson has passed away - age 86.

I so sad now. Only a few days ago, another Swedish actor; Janne "Loffe" Carlsson, also passed away - age 80.

Earlier this year we lost Gösta Ekman and Michael Nyqvist. It has been such a sad year.


I am going to miss them.

Legendary comic book writer and Editor Len Wein has passed away.

You can't say Uncanny X-men, Swamp Thing or Wolverine - without saying Len Wein - for together with other talented people he created all of them from Storm to Nightcrawler to Alec Holland to the most famous mutant of them all Logan aka Wolverine.

Earlier this year we lost Bernie Wrightson and now Wein has passed away aswell, leaving their most famous creation Swamp Thing fatherless.

Another important thing Wein did was write almost the entire X-men Cartoon series - adapting many of the best storylines ranging from Dark Phoenix, Days of Future Past and so on.
