The good news about the PL for me this season, is that I've updated my phone/internet plan to the organisation that has the rights to the PL down here.

So before, where I'd be able to see on game a week, or the odd game every now and then at a pub, I now get every game! Pre and post game, highlights show, everything!

I've seen every episode of Gary Neville's soccerbox 10 times each!

Paul Scholes seems a bit drol for an analyst?

Joe Hart is a legend in his own mind and just like Torino and the mighty show ponies will cost Burnley points. Pep can spot a duff one.

No debate needed Vic.
Joe is a Grade 3 Goalie.
My points were that 'daisy-cutters' (to his left ) will defeat him
Dyche's Burnley never allowed any oppo in their box. They did 3 times v Watford.
See OPTA Stats for Dyche's previous GKs - staggering ~ punching way above their weight because the oppo can't get in the box.
Watford did. 3 shots inside the box - 2 goals.
About a dozen shots from outside the box - 1 Goal.

Dyche will sort that clumsiness out, and Joe will shoot up the GK charts

.... still don't mean I rate him ~ I just think if he was protected in the NORMAL BURNLEY way... he'd be back in Sir Gareth's squad replacing the Championship tied Butland.

As Lens didn't play at Beziers (the field was returned...as the rugby Beziers team played on Friday......??), I saw first half of West Ham Arsenal. Who's the man on attack right side of WH...Interesting.

Felipe Anderson, unfortunately our defensive plan of running towards the half way line is not working. Looks like Arnie and Antonio might be out for a while.

Hmm Liverpool had chances but luck wasn't quite with us today but hey 1-0 is 1-0 and these are the sort of games we need to grind out and win if we are ever to mount a real challenge to the title. I see Man City slipped up against Wolves - nice one lads, shows they are human after all and not highly-paid robots. Liverpool have a real chance to make a big impression on the Champions League and the Premier League and I just hope our big players Mane, Firmino and Salah stay injury-free OR that could pose a major problem. Great to have a quality goalkeeper like Allison too.

Well done to our U20 England women who got a bronze medal in that championship beating the French on penalties 4-2. At least one England side returns with a medal to show for it.

Liverpool looked very lackadaisical today. A Brighton screw up in their own end led to Salah's goal and that was about it. Not very sharp in their usual Anfield form. Nice job by Allison on that header save but he did get me a little nervous handling the ball a couple of time.

Klopp said something ~ pre- or post the match ~ about people realising the work still needed. Didn't see the match as was watching Forest v Blues-Give-Away at that same time...

Chrissie H beat Man Utd last week, came away from Anfield with only a 1-0 defeat. Man Cty only drew with a Promoted club.

A percolated early season. I predicted a Bournmouth Relegation... really...I did.
