I think her biggest mistake was to be American - at last the surrender monkeys have got their revenge.
No doubt there will be an appeal and all these arguments will be heard. But I simply don't buy that the Italian court was unfair merely because it was an Italian court, or that Ms Knox was denied a fair hearing merely by virtue of being an American. Your opinion is as valid as mine fleetwood, but I think your comment on surrender monkeys is an injustice to Italy and I also think its beside the point. I do not believe that Ms Knox would have been acquitted in Britain or America on the case as it was reported. I am sure Ms Knox's family and friends would like to think otherwise, but they have an axe to grind.

In our math, a thousand thousands is a million, a thousand million is a billion, and ten thousand millions would be ten billion, so one hundred thousand millions would be 100 billion. Fine. But you said that in England, you can't use the same multiplier twice, so according to what you said in England a thousand thousands is a million, a million millions is a billion, a billion billions would be...ok, I don't have enough breadcrumbs to get home. But my point is that according to you sixty billion would be like sixty trillion or quadrillion, or something like that. I kinda doubt you lent that much to the Bank of Scotland. I still can't believe that a scientific constant like math is different in different parts of the world.
Scounds, you're truly a wise man. You didn't choose to answer me on this one...not because you thought I was right, but because you chose not to drive it into the ground. (Like you know I would have). You knew when to back off, unlike myself, who never realizes when to keep his big mouth shut. (Yeah, I know, go ahead, ha ha, get your shots in while you can. I should get a lot of thanks on this one).

So what made Saddam different from say, Robert Mugabe?

(let me guess, a certain naturally occurring, flammable liquid consisting of a complex mixture of hydrocarbons)

Listening to Tony Blair today makes me sorry I ever voted for him in 1997...

You know what, I don't even think it was that. I think it was purely and simply the fact that he wanted to be on the side of the big kid in town.

To someone like myself, he seemed to be saying: "Look at the size of my 'mate', you mess with him, you mess with me", whilst looking over said bully's shoulder. (Dubya)..

What annoys me the most about the whole fiasco, is the fact that Michael Moorer brought up: " Blair's obviously a smart man, what's he doing hanging around with a moron like Bush?" It may not be verbatim, but it's pretty close.

At least He now acknowledges that those of us who opposed to the war had good reason instead of being appeasers or disloyal.

Yes Blairs natural gravitas after the success of the Balkans conflict was the world stage he saw himself from then on not just PM of U.K but a world class statesman in the Kissenger mould ? look at him now middle east peace envoy the man is totally illusionary.

I always remember attending the Italian version of a socialist jamboree and the British labour party had a booth for ex-pats to register for the then first coming general election of Nulabour with TB at the helm I flatly refused saying I could smell a tory twat a mile off.

Do you know who the sponsors of the Copenhagen Conference are? They include SAS Scandinavian Airlines, Mercedes, BMW, Volvo, Honda and DHL. The one name significantly missing from the list of generous donors is The Al Gore Bloody Great Carbon Trading Rip-off Company.

Funny, that.
