No doubt there will be an appeal and all these arguments will be heard. But I simply don't buy that the Italian court was unfair merely because it was an Italian court, or that Ms Knox was denied a fair hearing merely by virtue of being an American. Your opinion is as valid as mine fleetwood, but I think your comment on surrender monkeys is an injustice to Italy and I also think its beside the point. I do not believe that Ms Knox would have been acquitted in Britain or America on the case as it was reported. I am sure Ms Knox's family and friends would like to think otherwise, but they have an axe to grind.

You know what, I don't even think it was that. I think it was purely and simply the fact that he wanted to be on the side of the big kid in town.

To someone like myself, he seemed to be saying: "Look at the size of my 'mate', you mess with him, you mess with me", whilst looking over said bully's shoulder. (Dubya)..

What annoys me the most about the whole fiasco, is the fact that Michael Moorer brought up: " Blair's obviously a smart man, what's he doing hanging around with a moron like Bush?" It may not be verbatim, but it's pretty close.

At least He now acknowledges that those of us who opposed to the war had good reason instead of being appeasers or disloyal.

Yes Blairs natural gravitas after the success of the Balkans conflict was the world stage he saw himself from then on not just PM of U.K but a world class statesman in the Kissenger mould ? look at him now middle east peace envoy the man is totally illusionary.
