Default Pan's People / 'The Two Ronnies'

PP perform here in another clip taken from the BBC series 'The Two Ronnies' originally TX'd in 1973. Here they dance to a sax-driven instrumental track which I seem to recognise but the title escapes me.

Type: AVI, size: 75 MB, duration: 2m21s.

Default Pan's People / Johnny B. Goode - 'The Two Ronnies'

Another clip of PP performing on one of 'The Two Ronnies' shows TX'd in 1973; here they dance to an instrumental version of 'Johnny B. Goode', first performed by Chuck Berry but since covered by just about every rock musician.

Type: AVI, size: 86 MB, duration: 2m07s.

PP perform here in some cute frocks to another (unidentified) instrumental track in one of the 1973 'The Two Ronnies' shows on BBC.

Default Pan's People - Bucket T / Jan and Dean - 'The Beat Club'

Another clip from the archives here. An early incarnation of PP perform on German TV's 'The Beat Club' in 1968 to Jan and Dean's track 'Bucket T' (that's a type of custom Ford car of course). 'The Who' later covered this track in 1966. I believe Beat Club was TX'd from Hamburg. I can't ID the female German presenter but the hairy cornflake himself Dave Lee Travis bravely attempts some German as her co-host.

Type: AVI, size: 14 MB, duration: 1m59s, B/W.

Default Cherry Gillespie.

Greetings.

Watching the re-runs of 'Top of the Pops' from way back in 1976 on BBC4, I've developed an infatuation with Pan's Peoples/Ruby Flipper babe Cherry Gillespie - I don't know if she was a sex-symbol at that time - I was only 9 years old the first time these shows were aired.
I must have watched all of these shows first time around, but curiously 'The Wurzels' with 'Combine Harvester' are the only act that seem to ring a bell!

Andrea True Connection, who also appear on these 1976 reruns has an interesting past. She was asked by her record producer to explain the line "Get the camera rolling, keep the action going" in the song More, More, More
"Don't you know what I do", she said. "I'm a porn star"
But I'm sure you guys knew that....

Yes, Foxbark, Cherry was very popular with the male population. She was always my favourite even though blonde Babs had a similar following.

Somebody earlier in this thread or another one also kindly pointed out that she appeared in the Dire Straits video for the song Private Investigations, available in good quality here:
