Pamela Sue Martin quit the role of Nancy Drew in October 1977 because more than half of "her" episodes in the second season turned out to be crossovers where she played second fiddle to Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson. Her final episode as Nancy aired in January 1978.

The issue of P**yboy was released in May 1978 (July issue) and the text clearly states that she had already left the part.

I know Russia laws are different than the United States laws but what really pisses me off is a teacher cannot be a teacher if they were a former pornstar but a gay man can be a scout leader oh no no danger there I call bullshit on that one!

I wonder if that's true. So many girls are out of the industry in a couple of years or less and very few seem to have made a good living in porn.

Just an aside, I have a niece that teaches high school. She recently told her mom that spending all day with teenagers is a very effective form of birth control.

Reminds me of a comedian who said she couldn't have children. After a day of babysitting her nieces and nephews, she just couldn't.

So the school found out and instead of outright firing her, they asked her to quit doing porn on the side and she said no? Any other school district would of just fired her and not give her a choice to quit doing porn on the side and she said no? Hmm, not sure if adding porn to the portfolio was the wisest financial move or not. Yeah, it gives a ton of easy money short-term; but unless you can build a brand, run a site, or go long-term with those MILF type deals, once you hit the wall and become undesirable as talent, you're out of luck.
Kindergarten might not be sexy or glamorous, but it's safe money forever. Good luck trying to pick up that career when you're in your early 30s and the next crop of young talent just gets off the bus.
