NatLamp got pretty explicit for a purported "humor magazine" back in its heyday. Boobs, bush, butt aplenty! You can probably find them at flea markets or online. My dad had a subscription and nobody cared if I read it. It warped my mind only to the degree of giving me a harder-edged perverse sense of humor than if I just read Mad. If roles were reversed and I had a 10-year-old son, I don't think I'd let him read NatLamp -- not because of the nudity, but because they played quite a bit on misogynist and racist themes. Fortunately, I was sophisticated enought to know the difference between making fun of a stereotype and advocating a stereotype.

As I mentioned in another thread, I was browsing old Dad's porno stash long before I knew what it all meant. I knew "the facts of life," but not what the anatomical mechanics actually felt like.

Indeed. Ideas can be just as stimulating as pictures. If you have a vivid imagination, the printed word can be even more stimulating. I used to become quite aroused by things like P.H. Forum letters. It didn't matter that even at an early age I questioned the veracity of the stories, what got me going was the ideas!
