Are any of you computer wizards able to snag the clip as a separate download?
If so, thanks in advance!
It's either a censored/edited version or some of the stills in post #21 were from out takes never actually used in the film. Either is possible. In particular, the full length semi-nude shot of her standing up in the corner is not in that clip.

I rented this movie some time back and it was the same "censored" version as the clip.

Neither: the shots in the Playboy spread (where Sue Ane appears without panties) were specially posed for the magazine. In the movie, she has panties. And you never see nipple. Also, you'll notice that in the film you never actually see her in the same frame with the crowd of co-workers who pour in through the door; the cuts flip back and forth, but the parts where she appears topless were shot in a "closed set."
It's been 45 years since this film was released and that was a long, long time ago in terms of movie "morality": it was a very big deal at the time that she was obviously "actually" topless in the scene with Connery while embracing him (rather than being distant from him or hiding behind frosted glass, like she was in the shower scene in A Man Called Dagger), even though we see nothing more than the sides of her lovely, bobbling breasts as she gets up. (In the movie we see the "embrace" just a few moments before this clip starts, as the camera pans up over the couch -- where her dress and underwear are draped -- and we see just a glimpse of her aureola and wonderful heaving boob as she kisses him. You can see vidcaps of that in post #3 of this thread: http://img253.imagevenue.com/img.php..._123_421lo.jpg
http://img214.imagevenue.com/img.php..._123_178lo.jpg ) And of course, Connery is fully dressed -- absurdly, since we're supposed to imagine he just banged her (indeed, the spunky Sue Ane, in an interview years later in the book "Drive-In Dream Girls" by Tom Lisanti, said she called this scene "Nookie with Nicki"). But it would have been impossible, in a film intended for the mainstream US circuit, to have shown them embracing while both were bare-chested. Many provincial movie theatres cut this scene out altogether, and I recall when she appeared on the Phil Donahue daytime talk show in 1971 or '72 (she was acting at the time as the housewife in a prime time TV sitcom called "Arnie") she caught HUGE flack from the old biddies in the audience because she had "done a nude scene" in a movie.
Times have truly changed!

Thank you for taking the time to make this clip and post it! At least my curiosity about this (nearly unfindable) film is satisfied.

Funny thing about trailers sometimes having more (or different) bits from the movies themselves. Two particular instances spring to mind (both cases, with French hardcore movies): in Petites ecolieres, the scene where the plumber comes into the classroom and all four girls plus the teacher take turns blowing him, the only one that doesn't is Cathy Stewart. But years later I saw a trailer for it, where she does. Similarly, in Fievres Nocturnes there is a scene where the male protagonist gets vigorously blown by his psychiatrist and her maid, while watching Brigitte Lahaie get screwed by Dominique Aveline. We never see his c*mshot in the movie -- but it exists in a trailer!
Go figure...

There is a problem with your explanation, as you can see Sean C is also in these caps with Sue Ane without panties (and different angles). I doubt Sean would have gone to the Playboy studios to re-create the scene with Sue Ane totally naked. So I think the original scene was shot two ways, even if Playboy did have her specifically pose as well.

These weren't photographed on Playboy studios, these were done on the film set. (The same pictorial later has photos of Sean Connery and Jean Seberg on another part of the set, with the bathtub and excercise equipment.) Sue Ane Langdon explains this herself in her interview in Tom Lisanti's book Drive-In Dream Girls (see p. 82).

This was very common practice in the 1950s and 60s by the way: for extra publicity the studios would encourage magazines to come and take shots of the stars on the set between takes. When the magazine was something like Playboy (or, later, Penthouse) they might convince an actress (especially a less-than-"A-list" actress who needed a career boost) to pose nude. That doesn't mean she ever appeared nude in the movie itself. in this case, Sue Ane was partially nude in the movie, but we never see as nude as in the Playboy shoot.

I remember having the PLBY layout, but never having seen the film until the mid-80s on TBS. I saw it posted in the TV guide and thought I needed to check this out. Unfortunately, the whole scene on the sofa and the crowd barging in was knocked out even then. It went to commercial after Sean makes his flirtatious remarks to her and then comes back with Joanne on the phone with him.

About a year later TBS re-ran it intact this time. I have to say I was a bit disappointed with her in panties and not totally naked like the pics. But I guess that scene was considered pretty risque and outragious at the time, voluptuous secretary takes off her clothes and ends up on the bosses sofa with a carpet cleaner and everybody comes in and sees her. I still don't think it's any more risque than the James Bond seduction scenes that were displayed before this though.

No, but 1) they targeted two slightly different audiences (Fine Madness was touted as more of a "highbrow" film for a broader audience, and the Bonds were promoted as "action adventures" for males) 2) you certainly never saw anything in a Bond film of the time that showed anything more than what we see in Fine Madness. Indeed, although Thunderball advertising made a "huge" deal about Molly Peters' scene being "the first time a girl appeared nude in a Bond movie" (1965) you barely see anything, since she's behind frosted glass. You "understand" that she's actually naked on the set, but we in the audience don't see much. Whereas (for instance) Sue Ane's bare back here and her bare ass flashing in The Rounders (even if only for a millisecond: blink and you miss it) was a HUGE deal for the day-time talkshow bigoted-old-biddy crowd. Sue Ane caught flack for it and had to defend herself on those talk shows (when her Wiki entry once stated that "Much was made of her exposed epidermis" they're referring to the complaints on those talk shows; it almost jepardized her career, it was a lucky break for her to get cast in the family-hour TV sitcom Arnie just 4 years later... had she shown just a bit more skin, or god forbid a nipple, she certainly never would have been given that gig. It was another world, back then...)
Sadly, I'm old enough to have been around in "middle America" in those years, and it was a truly weird time. Things finally seemed to "explode" about 1967 or 1968, but even so, when The Night They Raided Minsky's (1968) was shown in the town I was in, they showed it only at the local art theater (no one under 18 allowed) or as the very last show (11:30 pm) at the drive-in. For those unfamilair with that gem, Britt Ekland bared her tits, in a completely non-erotic setting, for less time than it takes to sneeze. Same thing for A Dream of Kings, where you see the side of Inger Stevens bare boobs for an instant: that was 1969, and at that point they allowed 17-year-olds to see it. Whoopee... Of course, by 1972 we were all watching hardcore porn in the same theaters (I saw Deep Throat at a "midnight screening" with half-priced tickets for college students. When the local puritans tried to get the movie blocked for anyone under 21, the theater owner said a beautiful thing: "If these kids are old enough to get drafted against their will to go die in Vietnam, they're old enough to see this". He won, god bless him...). And of course, by that year the same drive-in that had to wait until late night to screen Minsky's was showing Cheri Caffaro grabbing man-crotch and having her bare-naked tits mauled and suckled for what seemed to be half an hour in Ginger at the early showing! The times they changed in a hurry....

Interesting thing about The Rounders, I downloaded an .avi file of that film and it was censored. When the shot of her and Hope Holiday's rears came up, a censored tag popped-up over each of their hineys. Must've been a TV print I downloaded.

[mod edit - uncensored clip can be seen here - http://www.vintage-erotica-forum.com...&postcount=15]

Actually, the situation is even worse than that. In the "skinny-dipping" scene, the for-TV version darkened the image to the point where you can barely make our anything at all. I remember clearly that in the movie theaters, you could see Sue Ane's and Hope Holiday's bare backs and in a couple of shots, even the side-bulge of Sue's Ane's breast. In other words, the lighting was this bright: except of course it was in color and with very crisp focus.
All of that was darkened to the point of invisiblity for TV (and also shortened). Well, when the DVD came out I had hoped to see that scene restored, but sadly, it's just like the censored version. Maybe no "original" print survives?

Well, despite the fun shennanigans she did with some of these films, I think it's safe to say she stayed a good girl. She was married to the same guy for over 50 years who just recently died. My condolescences to her.
