Arrow Earliest Celebrity Fake

There is a nude photo that has been around of Raquel Welch since the late 70's or early 80s. It has been debated whether the photo is real or a fake. Fakes are very common now but it wasn't always easy to do.
What is the earliest fake that you know of? It must be a decent quality fake, not just gluing a head on a body.

Honestly? The earliest "celebrity" fake is probably on some cave wall.

If you want to limit it to photographic, then probably within a month or so of the first camera. No, that's not a joke.

I'd guess .... The film retouching done for Maureen Sullivan's, Tarzan of the Apes has to be pretty early for the type of stuff you're talking about. I'm with DT though, First fake was probably scrawled in the dirt with a stick pretending to represent Princess Vespa, because she could bench press a mammoth or something.

I remember a movie (I want to say it had to do with the girls taking pictures of the fairies, but don't quote me.) where the lead character had a business of making fakes for families. He would take a picture of their (deceased) loved one, take a group picture of them with a stand in, and make it look like the loved one was there posing with them.
