Although adding a pea size portion of fluoride to threads does help preserve them

"Christmas drivers"!

Where do they come from? Are there really people out there who only take to their cars to go Christmas shopping, or does the "Sunday Drivers' Club" organise an annual outing?

On Monday, I only did a 12 mile round trip, but encountered ...

One woman who achieved the breakneck speed of 32mph on a clear, dry A-road which had a 60mph limit. Of course, she had to slow down to 25mph for any slight bends! However, she then managed to speed up when she reached a 30mph zone, but slowed to 25 when she then got to a 40mph zone!

Another woman who decided it would be a good idea to let all of her passengers out at a set of traffic lights ... including those in the back, and as it was a 2-door car, she had to get out too! The fact that, by then, the lights had gone to green didn't even seem to register!

An old fart who drove through a set of traffic lights, then immediately stopped, thereby holding up all the traffic which promptly backed up through the lights. The reason being that he appeared to want to do a U-turn but couldn't get into the oncoming queue of stationary traffic as their lights were on red! When the lights did change, one saintly individual decided to let the old fart in ... but he didn't want in ... he wanted to cut through the traffic and park across the cycle lane! After a few minutes, he then decided he did want to join the traffic after all, so drove up onto the pavement and made the mistake of trying to muscle in front of me! He didn't succeed, but I think he learned some new, non-Christmasy phrases! The funniest thing was that he didn't appear angry ... just confused, as if thinking "What have I done wrong?"

I'm going to see if Palo can get me an old T-34 ... preferably one with the 85mm main gun!

You could probably get one yourself without much trouble. You only need the cash

To tell you the truth, I'd sell the thing fast and take the money. That wouldn't annoy me at all. I'd thank you

But if I had to pay insurance for it, that would seriously annoy me the most. Look at this - a total trainwreck, and it only ran over a few chemicals

Aw come on, wouldn't you just love to own and drive something like that so that when some rude and inconsiderate bastard flips you off or gives you the evil eye for no reason, or runs a stop sign or traffic signal you can then ram, run over him, or blast the ever-loving crap out of him! (Or all of the above!)

The way many idiots are driving these days you almost do need to be driving something like that in order to survive and be safe driving on the streets!

Or if you got stopped by the cops lock the hatch and tell them to come on in and get me!
