Russian cosmonaut Viktor Gorbatko passed away in Moscow at the age of 82 on Wednesday, a source in the rocket and space industry told TASS.
"He felt unwell recently spending the past two weeks in the Mandryka hospital where he died in the intensive care unit on Wednesday," the source said.

Roxcy O’Neal Bolton, the founding mother of Florida’s modern feminist movement and a rambunctious, feather-ruffling presence on its civic and political landscape, died Wednesday in the city she championed and challenged for almost five decades. She was 90.

She died at Doctors Hospital in Coral Gables at 5:10 a.m., her son David said, in the same place where her children were born and where her second husband, David Bolton Sr., died. She had been sick for several years and hasn’t been able to eat much since August.

Surfline is sad to report that one of the most iconic, ubiquitous and respected pioneers of East Coast surfing, Dick Catri, passed away this morning(May 15) in his Melbourne Beach, FL, home due to complications from recent strokes.

Very sad to learn that Chris died. Soundgarden was one of my favorite bands back in the 90s and some songsfrom Audioslave were great too.

I used to be a huge Soundgarden fan in my earlier teenage years. My interest in music took a different path later on but I still listen to Soundgarden. Chris Cornell's death really shocks me as he was only 52 and looked healthy and happy with Soundgarden being back on the road again. Such a shame. R.I.P. Chris
