The lady of many names ...
@BustyEscortLovr - your three photos of Linda/Mary/Penny are completed and shown below. I took your advice and stayed away from the background, that would have substantially multiplied the working time. Let me know if you would like anything different.
1731 colored since 23 May 2010 @will - your three photos of a lady are next in line and should be finished in a day. @mrdata69 - I'm afraid I'm going to need to turn down your request to clean the writing off your next two photos. The working time on the previous two was excessive to the extreme and the new ones would multiply that several fold. A large part of the new time would be added by the extensive net outfit which they both wear and the amount of printing over the hair in the second which is always difficult to clean up. Add to that the fact that the format in these photos is horizontal therefore the printing is doubled and it all points to a ridiculous amount of work to clean these pictures. I don't like turning down a request, I've only done it twice before, so you must realize I don't want to spin my wheels for an extreme amount of time on these. demsal8

demsal. My apology for lack of information.(too late now?) This photo was taken around 1945/6. It is of my father being used as a volunteer for being fit with an obvious arm sling(?). Not going into whole detail, but not much is known about the photo as to its relevance. wish I could ask him but I'm afraid its 18 years too late. The only thing I can think of besides his eyes not being blue is that they are wearing military uniforms, most likely brown. I appreciate your efforts and time and am honored to be #1728 since 23 May 2010. Keep making people smile, your work is well appreciated.

Green may not be appropriate if he was Navy or Coast Guard...would be for Marines or USA/USAAF (not USAF, as my branch wasn't a separate service until 1947). Also, are you sure about them being military? Your father, probably, but the guy fitting him is not wearing any sort of name tag, decoration, or rank insignia (He'd be an officer if he was a military doctor...probably a Major or Lt. Col. based on his apparent age)....and his belt is not military issue. Might've been a civilian doctor attached to a military unit, tho. |

Make-up time
The following two images are being changed at the request of the original poster.
@rlg118 - your request of a shift of the outfit color for Marilyn Monroe upstairs is changed to blue and posted below. This one was specially difficult to color the skirt since the large space usually painted as one mass is here broken up into four areas by the railings in front of her. @bayern032 - reviewing this photo, it is obvious that everyone isn't wearing military uniforms. The gentleman standing has on a belt made of woven leather that I don't believe was ever accepted as military standard. The other discrepancy is your father's shirt which I can only describe as white. While a white shirt was standard for a Naval officer and on a dress uniform for an Army officer, it seems unlikely that either of these would be the guinea pig for trying out a new piece of medical equipment. Accordingly, I limited the changes on this one to changing your father's eyes to brown.

The Annette French triplets
@will - your three photos of Annette are completed and shown below, delayed by some outside work that had to be done in the meantime. Let me know if you'd like anything changed.

A lady hunting for her date
@spazarino - your sole lady hunting for something is colored and shown below. I considered making the garment in yellow and pink also but settled on white (that's why I ended up with the flowers in blue). You can request either or both of the others if you wish. Let me know if you'd like any changes.
1735 colored since 23 May 2010 @jjcanada - two actress coloring and a text removal are next in line. These should all be done within a day.

Thank you, I think they are perfect, I love the attention to detail where you have colured the embroidery on her suspender belt, and how the colouring has emphasised the hint of pube in the first image

Three actresses for yesterday
@jjcanada - your three photos of actresses in and out of character are finished and shown below. Carol Wayne was a simple one to do, taking the printing off was fairly easy. Joi Lansing was simply a matter of copying the colors from other photos. About the previous Joi photo, I prefer doing a better photo if I can find one so the extended time was not your fault. And Nancy Kovack also was a matter of transferring colors from another master. In Nancy's case, I took a frame shot of her from the movie "Jason and the Argonauts" which showed her playing Medea in the same outfit and head ornament as the photo you presented her in (shown on the next line). Of course while acting she wore a wrap around the waist that had the effect of giving her a floor length skirt. Let me know if you want anything changed.
1737 colored since 23 May 2010 @aipon - your two pictures of Janet Lupo are next in line and should be completed in a day.
