Would just like to take this moment and sincerely thank those that thanked me .You brother members are true scholars ,and give me the strength to go on and on and on with a thread slowly slipping into oblivion . Talking of which here are a few more and i think to try and stir some other contributions i`ll give my own quick personal reviews alongside , yeah yeah i know as if you haven't suffered enough

Overlong manipulative weepy eyed chick flick with some thin armed hair moussed vampire boys thrown in = BTD (Big thumbs down)

Best comic book adaptation yet with first rate effects and star performances , though a pity the co-stars were left with so little to do or say = BTU

Think we all know this is an utterly brilliant film and almost perfect in every way, in fact my only couple of complaints is that i`d have preferred it if they`d made a 15 rated one rather than this 12 as i do have a soft spot for splatter .Plus that scene in the police station where the joker is goading the lone cop needed better editing, as it cuts away too quick as then the next second the jokers out of the cell holding that same cop hostage. See it jarred for me as i`d have liked to see the event actually happen, still can`t award anything less than a = BTU

Rourke signs a couple of autographs for two clueless kids and as he does so you see the stitching on the jacket he`s wearing has come away , it's so blink and miss and just like this film a thing of beauty = BTU

Can`t comment on this yet but my fingers are crossed as it sure looks tasty

. Didn`t realize there was a similar thread to this already , but now that i do i`m perfectly happy with this one being absorbed (Gosh is it me or did that sound slightly rude ?). Especially as i believe in the old adage that if you love something you should just let it go , why i loved my fiancée so much that i even let her go.
Ok not go so much as pushed her off a car park roof where she certainly went alright and quite speedily , but then you should seen the cost of wedding dress she wanted .

The universal balance has been restored now and thankfully just in time, as it`s common knowledge that two duplicate threads can`t exist in the same point in time . Alright sure they can , but to me it seems disrespectful if they do.Typing of which here`s some posters of kinda middling ok-ish films directed by a bit of an odd director ,who`s too shy and nervous to ever be a good one or create a truly confident great feature. I say that despite his outward appearance and stage performances , and because he badly dropped the ball with a personal favourite of mine Halloween.

I mean what ever possessed Zombie to hire Daeg Faerch ??? , the kids got all the screen presence and acting ability of an empty crisp packet. What`s worse though is he`s also going to be in the sequel , eventhough all he did in the first one was try his best to speak lines and not laugh out loud while doing so, although his dumb smile stayed in place during every scene.
But it wasn't just the kid who blew it , Zombie also totally messed up the opportunity to give The Shape a true personality and reinvigoration of menace. Before production i offered suggestions in using the traditionally blank mask like a malleable second skin by the use of shadow and rendering (My own term) , so that Micheal could be actually seen to be smiling or thinking etc during or after certain events.
But no the group view was just having him do the old tired turning of the head routine , which director Zombie agreed to as he`d left his testicles at the dry cleaners, but i digress

Soon to be released , and it`s about a comic character who was pretty crap anyway. Will this be Zombies first successful picture , and do we care either way ?.
