A Los Angeles based television network is announcing the revival of "The Nanny" with Fran D. once again come January.

In Los Angeles, I think it is digital TV channel 5.2 or 5.3 and was running a few seconds overall past few days but zero today (as are many others). Supposedly everything begins first week of January. Bill |

I'd be willing to bet you actual hard currency that its NOT newly produced episodes but the station beginning a syndication run of the already existing episodes. I haven't seen even a hint of a whisper of a rumor of a revival of The Nanny with new episodes being filmed on any of the TV news sites I read. (Same-same with Sally Field & Gidget. That's even more unlikely to be newly filmed episodes, can you honestly see 64 year old Sally Field playing 19 year old Gidget?
 )
