I don't bother hiding my stash. When I was in hospital I gave my Da the keys to BBVILLE

I needed pj's that where in a spare room. I told him that there was porn mags in the room. He just laughed, well he had his stash. He later told me that I needed some storage space. How true.

I keep mine on an encrypted hard disk partition with a VERY strong password that I have trained myself to remember and is NOT written down ANYWHERE.

I'm not worried about the cops since it's all legal (most of it came from VEF anyway). The problem is family -- some are anti-porn and think it's disgusting; I do NOT want THEM to find it when I'm gone. Mum would be quite upset and the rest of the family would likely have a WTF moment

I had, over the years transferred from VHS to DVD but then I had DVDs to hide. I recently found a solution. A 1Tb external hard drive from Western Digital that has several encryption schemes. i did not go for the automatic backup because there were so many duplicates but wrote a small batch file in DOS to transfer the stuff from two DVD readers to the encrypted HDD. I used the DOS XCOPY feature. If anyone wants the program I can post it here.

Since I'm currently single, I don't have a partner that knows about my stash! However, if I am with somebody when I die, I guess it would be up to her if she would wan't to keep it or not! But, with that being said, If I find a hott babe, I may not even need a stash! True Guys!...Cheers!

I've actually thought about this more seriously on looking at the thread again and reading some of the comments made by others after I last posted. OK, I am not expecting to cark it any time soon, but I did step back a little and think not just about my collection of magazines, but also my other valuable items I have collected over the years - coins, stamps, sports programmes and books.

As the Club mags are all neatly stacked and well looked after, I would hope that they would be counted with the rest of the more obvious items as collector's pieces - in fact given how much some of them sell for on eBid I'd wager that the collection I have is probably worth a couple of grand or more.

However rather than leaving all of this stuff behind - I don't have any kids and we are not intending on having any - I am considering setting a timeline to sell the lot at some stage, perhaps in around ten to fifteen years' time when the mortgage is paid off and when I can seriously think about retiring a few years early.

The plan would probably be to sell the mags, sports programmes, 80-90% of the coins and 90% of the stamps, with the aim of leaving the remaining stamps and coins as part of a trust for my nephew (and soon to arrive nephew/niece). With the money I would make from the sales - which I would expect to be a decent five-figure sum come the time - I'd organise a massive long holiday for me and Mrs Shark, who would sell her collection of books too.

Of course, with any mission like this it is a not so simple matter of steeling yourself for the moment when you press the "go" button and sell that first mag, stamp or coin, thus breaking a collection that would have taken more than forty years to accumulate.

My comfort blanket of course would be my digital collection of porn, which by 2027 will probably consist of a wardrobe full of external hard drives - something that I'd only ever get rid of when I lose my libido completely or my cock fails to work, whichever is the sooner.
