IMO Celine Devoux, Claudia Adkins, Jesse Vega, Leah de Mae, Nikki Tyler, and Sarenna Lee (If she didn't get that ridiculous boob job) all could have gotten non-porn modeling work if they wanted to....but for whatever reasons, they didn't.

Aimee Sweet actually went to Milan to model. The first thing they told her when she got there was "Lose ten pounds, American girls are all too fat". So as long as the runway-fashion industry is dominated by gay men who want models with the bodies of fourteen year old boys, we're going to see more of what we want (tits, hips) from the adult industry, not the conventional fashion industry.

This one's tough. Most models seem to be stick thin with little to offer in the boobs department. Porn stars are, by and large, a different breed altogether. But in terms of pretty faces, I think Taylor Hayes, Janine (before all the tats), Shane, Jenna Jameson, Asia Carrera, Barbara Dare and Jeannie Pepper would have been great models. Can't you just picture a S.I. swimsuit issue featuring all of them? Wow!

Typically, runway models are at least 5'8" which eliminates many of our porn favorites. Smaller girls makes the 'members' they're working with seem larger. WARNING: This bit of visual perspective does NOT work in real life - just trust me on this.

But runway models are not the only models out there...they're actually a very small fraction of modeling.

But we also have to remember that many of these porn starlets probably DID try to break into legit modeling, but since there are literally hundreds of thousands of wanna-be models out there that try to break into the industry each year, some turn to porn to make money and find that they can actually make a living with it for a while.
