But the passport check before was more interesting. When I showed my passport, an Indian-looking guy was called, and he said "Come with me" and I had to sit for some minutes while they checked something with their clever computers

Did they know I was there to drink all their beer, and deprive them of their greatest resource?

No, because some minutes later a nice blonde appeared with my passport and said "This was just a routine check Mr ..., welcome to Australia"

Everyone should visit Australia at least once

Hmm, since my great mate and political opponent palo5 started this thread and seems fixated on Oz, I think he has now passed all my tests.....palo, you are now a citizen of Australia

As a token of my mateship, upon arrival I'll make sure the following happens,

You need a ball and chain ,ie sheila, ie, girlfriend, so meet Shaz or Shazza (Sharon)

And a new best mate Baz or Bazza (Barry)

Can't have ya without a set of wheels, so here's a Ute full of beer, and when the beer is gone, your dog Blue can go for a ride in the back of it
