Better Call Saul--Season 3 Episode 9: Fall
**SPOILERS** --Well, now...Chuck is REALLY pissed off. What's he going to do after he alienates everybody? No allies? --I just thought of something: what if Kim blames Jimmy for what happens to her at the end of the show, decides to help Chuck, and Jimmy gets upended entirely? --Speaking of Jimmy, he's almost as bad as Sam was in Season 4 of Supernatural. He's officially over to the dark side. That poor old woman...well at least she has some new shoes! --Gus tricked Hector S. pretty good. Pissed him off, too. All the while Nacho is feeding him bad dope. Things are starting to fall into line for Mike...unless a showdown with Nacho is looming... --By the way...if I ever win at Bingo in just 5 calls, I'm looking over my shoulder for trouble!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zorya As for why Shadow glows for Laura, something which is not in the book as far as I can remember, I think it's because she is now bonded to him. Shadow "gave" Laura that lucky gold coin he got from Sweeny out of love, and that was what brought Laura back to life. For Laura now, Shadow represents her purpose and reason for existence. |

That reminds me. I've been binge-watching Supernatural. It's damn silly, but I liked the part where Lucifer walks in and wastes all of the pagan gods one by one with little effort. He takes out Ganeesh and Odin and Baldur and the rest. Gave me a good laugh.

Dark Matter is massively under rated by my reckoning. The props and effects are cheap, but great cast, acting and story specially. Can't wait for season 3!

Decadence and Downfall: The Shah of Iran's Ultimate Party In 1971, the Shah of Iran, the self-proclaimed 'king of kings', celebrated 2,500 years of the Persian monarchy by throwing the greatest party in history. Money was no object - a lavish tent city, using 37km of silk, was erected in a specially created oasis. The world's top restaurant at the time, Maxim's, closed its doors for two weeks to cater the event, a five-course banquet served to over sixty of the world's kings, queens and presidents, and washed down with some of the rarest wines known to man. Over a decadent five-day period, guests were treated to a pageant of thousands of soldiers dressed in ancient Persian costume, a 'son et lumiere' at the foot of Darius the Great's temple, and the opening of the Azadi Tower in Tehran, designed to honour the Shah himself. Every party leaves a few hangovers. This one left a country reeling, never to recover. It crystallised the opposition, led by the Ayatollah Khomeini. More than any other event, this party marked the break between the king of kings and the people of Iran he reigned over. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b07176xr |

Yep. The war is on.
But they kinda keep us hanging on the whole zombie Laura and Shadow thing. Meanwhile...where the hell did Czernobog go? I really dug Wednesday's "I am Odin" soliloquy.
