Ibam not working at all for me
For about the past two weeks Imagebam has suddenly stopped working for for me. I thought it was a glitch that would eventually rectify itself as they sometimes often do, but it has not and I believe it is some more serious technical issue. The problem occurs whether I'm signed in or out.
When clicking the "Select Files" button to begin the multi-upload process nothing at all happens. When using the Basic Upload feature I am able to manually select the image files, but nothing happens when clicking the Upload Now button to begin the uploading. I do not have NoScript but I do have AdBlock which I did try disabling with no results. Does anyone know what problem has occurred to stop IBam to stop working for me? I readily admit that I'm not the brightest bulb in the box when it comes to computer and technical issues, so it would be greatly appreciated if you could please explain what has occurred and how to remedy it in simple layman's terms. Many thanks in advance for any assistance!

You could try accessing the site via this proxy
http://anonymouse.org/cgi-bin/anon-w...w.imagebam.com came from the windows seven forum where someone here was having issues seeing pics on a certain host and nothing else suggested worked One suggestion which wasnt used might be worth a try clearing your DNS cache Most operating systems and DNS clients will automatically cache IP Addresses and other DNS results, this is done in order to speed up subsequent requests to the same hostname. Sometimes bad results will be cached and therefore need to be cleared from the cache in order for you to communicate with the host correctly. All major operating systems allow you to force this process, outlined below are the common steps you will need to follow in order to flush your DNS cache https://www.whatsmydns.net/flush-dns.html Failing that i'd head towards a few browser cleaners like adw cleaner to see if you have anything unwanted onboard Bleeping computer has it |

It always pays to be very specific with any issues
operating system browser security suite / firewall / anti-virus Just for example 15-16/10/14 microsoft issued some security patches they botched 4 of them - if you allow automatic updates their on your system http://www.askwoody.com/category/mic...ches-security/ Possibly a reason but with issues like this it really is like finding a needle in haystack Using system restore and going back to when everything worked might work but that depends on whats causing it. Might just be quicker to find a new imagehost |

Have you tried uploading without logging in to Imagebam?
I don't have an account with them, but I upload almost entirely with them without problems usually. I have Adblock Plus and NoScript enabled on my PC.

Its like a ghost town coming to this forum theses days.
The worst host ever is imagebam.com I will say this if you QUOTE someones post then click on the A/A tab to see the code. Then copy one of the image links and put it into the address bar. Their's a good chance it will come up though you cant see what your getting. Plus imagebam.com lets you click on the folder hosting all the images where again its hit or miss if you see a preview.... Its like the VEF is blocking the images you have to go the long way round to see something, if at all you see it ???

I had this too and couldn't solve it. Then an Adobe Flash-Player update came around, and the prob was gone. Heaven knows why

Turned on my computer this morning and after the boot-up I received a pop up to download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player, which I did. Lo and behold my Imagebam, like what occurred with Blazes, is now working again -- at least for the time being! Evidently it would appear that Ibam utilizes and incorporates AFP into its system and its part of what makes them operate. Being a computer moron I can only guess that Ibam must have made some change in its system which made my older version AFP obsolete/incompatible and required the latest AFP version. Many thanks to all for your assistance and suggestions in helping me try to rectify the problem!
