As there is no biographical information on these latest thread entries (Despite the thread rules), I will provide something for the latest post. Born in Los Angeles, California, Wendy Windham is the niece of actor Stan Laurel and moved to Italy in 1988. She was blonde so got work as a recurring guest on the TV Quiz show 'The Game of 9' .... this lead to work on many Italian TV shows. She also got film parts in three movies, and she adorned the covers of many Italian magazines including Guida TV, Playmen and Chi. She retired in 2001 from Italian television, and returned to Miami, where she married a businessman.

Tami Erin (b. Tamara Erin Klicman), is from Wheaton, Illinois, USA. She began acting and modeling aged 8 years old after signing with Elite Model Management. When she was 11, she won the title role of Pippi Longstocking in the movie 'The New Adventures of Pippi Longstocking' (1988). Its fair to say that this didn't lead to a startling career as an adult .... as far as I can tell she has only managed minor support film roles and no TV roles since 1998 ......

Drunken driving is a common issue with the girls here .... so no surprise that she was arrested after she hit three cars while driving in Los Angeles on the 14th December 2013 .... police said at least one person was taken to the hospital after the incidents. I say 'incidents' as she allegedly hit the first car then drove off - then hit another car and drove off - then she hit the last. The police turned up and performed a field sobriety test. She failed this and she was then arrested for both the felony hit and run, and the DUI. One source reports she was "totally out of control ... just out of it".

As we have often noted on this thread Camcorders, Bedrooms and Boyfriends are a dangerous mix ..... In October 2013, she 'sold a sex tape' to a pornography company, after she was allegedly unable to stop a former boyfriend from releasing and profiting from it ... which is a new one for this thread. There are apparently scenes where she swims naked in a pool, and also other ones where she models sexy lingerie among doing “other” things. Initially she tried to block the tapes release “This has completely blindsided me,” she told press in August of this year and stated that her ex was a “piece of shit for attempting to sell it”. But just two weeks later she sold it herself .... “My ex-boyfriend is trying to release it with or without me, I’m beating him to the punch!”

She was also pictured in the press, partying at Larry Flynt's Hustler Club and kissing porn star Joslyn James .... fuelling speculation that she could be about to cross over from legit to porn.

Crystal Clarese Hunt is from Clearwater, Florida, USA. She started on the rocky road that led to this post via the very traditional route of the pageants at age fifteen. She then moved into acting in daytime soaps such as the CBS daytime soap opera 'Guiding Light' where she played 'Lizzie Spaulding', from February 2003 until January 2006. She received a Daytime Emmy Award nomination in 2005. She joined joined ABC's 'One Life to Live' in February 2009 but left a year later in February 2010. She has also a small number of movie parts to her name .... but of the straight to DVD kind.

She was reported as being arrested in Los Angeles on Friday night December the 13th, after she allegedly smashed a glass in a woman's face .... this after getting in to a fight at 'Pearl's Liquor Bar' in West Hollywood. Hunt's lawyer told the TMZ website that a woman had been threatening his client, who he said wasn't drinking alcohol, and after security failed to remove the woman from the premises, his client reacted to the theats by throwing a pint glass at the woman's face. The victim required medical attention. She was consequently arrested for a felony assault with a deadly weapon. She was reportedly detained by the police overnight in jail, and was released the following morning on bail.

There will no doubt be more on this story in the next few weeks

As regular visitors already know - porn stars do not qualify for this thread (explanation if one needed is on the link) - except where there is some other reason for their inclusion .... so this is one of those rare exceptions.

Clare Evans was a self proclaimed 'single parent' with two children and began claiming welfare benefits, apparently legitimately, in 2001. But in 2004 she decided to 'supplement' her welfare benefits payments. Now she might have chosen to become a cleaner, or maybe worked in a pub but no, she determined on mixing business with pleasure so to speak, and earn extra money via her body .... as a model.

However she was soon working more as a 'glamour model', and thereafter, she apparently received between £200 to £800 every calendar month, the amounts varying, depending on which websites her shots were being displayed.

All might have gone well, but in 2004 she had neglected to declare her extra earnings to the Department of Work and Pension, and the local council housing benefit office. She was finally caught when suspicious council officials noticed a sparkling new Audi TT sports car parked on her driveway. A car which costs up to £40,000 and which was registered to her.

Initially she tried to claim that her 'friends, family and boyfriend' had been paying cash into her account to help her out .... but perhaps when it was pointed out that having 'boyfriends' who helped with 'money' was often construed as welfare fraud as well (she was pregnant with her third child by the time she went to court), she admitted to a string of benefit fraud charges, totaling £62,747 over six years, and she was convicted. In July 2011 she was jailed for ten months at Bristol Crown Court and the case was reported in both the national and local press.

After this, footage also came to light of her starring in a hardcore porn movie back in 2001, and she was perhaps lucky that this also possibly undeclared income hadn't been apparently been part of the charges laid against her.

Also, it was later revealed that she had one previous conviction for welfare benefit fraud dating back to 2008 for which she was given a community order.

'Celebdom' is like all things, ephemeral, and to stay at the top takes luck as well as ability. Most of our girls lack one of these attributes, but have a little bit of the other .... but given time, most of them lack both, and they sink down through reality TV, and daytime TV talk shows to obscurity.

Kirstie Alley was what was called 'Big in the 80's', now she could best be described as 'BIG' and that’s not a career description. She was born in Wichita, Kansas, US and attended Wichita Southeast High School, and attended college at Kansas State University in 1969. She moved to Los Angeles to pursue her belief in Scientology, which she had joined in 1979 (which shows that some of them do join up before becoming stars) and work as an interior designer.

However, her rise to celebdom came through TV game shows and an interest in amateur dramatics. She appeared as a contestant on the popular game show 'Match Game' in 1979 (where she won multiple games in one series), and she also appeared on the game show 'Password Plus' in 1980. She was also a member of the 'Odyssey Stage Company' in L.A. which gave her an entre into professional show business.

She broke into movies with a début in 1982 in 'Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan', which was a big success. She then had a number of movie roles before joining the cast of the successful TV series 'Cheers' in 1987. The role was high profile and she stayed until it finished in 1993. She also was in a number of movies including the 'Look Whose Talking' series (the last of these was made in 1993). The end of 'Cheers', seemed to change the velocity of her career .... her films were less successful ('Village of the Damned' in 1995 was the highlight) and she gravitated to 'sitcoms' and reality TV .... NBC sitcom 'Veronica's Closet' anyone?

Her latest TV series premiered on 4 December 2013, titled 'Kirstie' .... So recently she has relied on reality TV and guest slots to keep the flame burning: 'Dancing with the Stars' (U.S. seasons 12 and 15) and 'Kirstie Alley's Big Life' etc. She married and divorced twice with two children.

While she was an interior decorator she developed a cocaine addiction .... in interviews in 1990 she said "I was a good decorator, but I snorted up all my profits". She admitted to a nearly three-year drug addiction .... "When I came out of my drug stupor, I decided I wanted to act". So at the time she became a Scientologist, she admitted to having a cocaine addiction and went through 'Narconon', a Scientology-affiliated drug treatment program to end her dependency. 'I have photographs taken of me at the time I was addicted, and thought I looked good. I see them today and realize my eyes were dead'.

She did a fully nude scene on stage in "The rise and fall of the city of Mahogany" while a member of the 'Odyssey Stage Company' in L.A.

She is one of those ladies who is cursed by the old adage 'a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips' ... and she piled on the pounds from the early 1990's onward (look at her ankles and calfs on the last couple of series of Cheers) .... so not unnaturally she made guest appearances on TV shows like Oprah, to discuss how happy she was etc etc with her weight gain, and then, following her launch in 2010 of the program 'Organic Liaison', the first USDA-certified organic weight loss product, she announced that she had lost 100 pounds (45 kg) using the program in September 2011 and showed her 'slimmer' (its all relative!) figure on TV. This weight loss seems not to have stayed off as far as I can see.

She was raised in Manhattan NYC and her father Jerry Lauren is the executive vice president for men’s design at the Ralph Lauren fashion house, which is owned by her Uncle. When she was aged 7, she modelled for the company runway shows .... While at summer dance camp in Lenox, Mass she started getting the first ideas about her body size that led to her developing anorexia, an illness from which she is now 'recovered', and she later wrote a book on her experience entitled "Homesick". she won awards from eating disorder charities for her work - she had her last treatment for the illness in Santa Fe, New Mexico. She was allegedly no longer taking medication, but sees a therapist once a week and has some physical disabilities left as a result of her constantly throwing up while bulimic.

She was a fine arts graduate from Manhattan's Barnard College in 1990 (or it could be Colombia University ... she has that kind of biography). She is now a jewellery designer, after her work was spotted and the Sag Harbor, N.Y., store offered her a trunk show. She now runs and owns a jewellery line called 'Jenny Lauren Jewellery' with a shop and website ... She is also a writer and was a painter, and she currently lives in Manhattan.

She was arrested last Monday at Shannon airport, after a Delta Airlines flight from Barcelona to New York was diverted due to safety concerns. Apparently after about two hours of flight, the flight attendants noted that there was an issue with the reclining mechanism on seat 21 G, about ten rows back from the cockpit. When one of them approached the seat to offer her assistance she was told to "get the fuck out of my face". Ms Lauren subsequently ran up to the galley at speed "ranting and raving" and told the flight attendant that she was going to 'go ballistic' and then pushed the flight attendant against a wall.

At this point she called flight attendant a number of other offensive names .... to whit a "fucking ugly, blonde bitch" ... She then transferred her attentions to the supervising flight attendant, using further "ugly remarks" ..... these were by calling her a "fat ugly, unhappy, blonde bitch". Another Delta Airlines captain who was on board tried to intervene but his efforts were to no avail .... he was told "you're an arsehole". So the plane was diverted to Shannon airport, where Police boarded the plane and took statements, and she was arrested in the airport, to which she responded "Can you say that in English please?" .... She later claimed she thought she had landed in Spain.

She was charged with threatening and abusive behaviour on the flight, and being intoxicated to an extent that could cause danger to passengers. There was initially another charge of 'causing annoyance or offence', but this was later withdrawn, and all the charges were brought under the Air Navigation and Transport Act 1973.

The hearing was held in the downstairs function room of the Brian Boru pub (named after the ancient High King of Ireland), as there is no dedicated courthouse in the area. So she ended up sat only a few feet away from Guinness and Heineken beer taps, and under switched off disco lights as her name was called out in the licensed premises ..... how the mighty have fallen!.

She wept before her court hearing, and then clutched her hands as she appeared before Killaloe District Court, where the court was told that Ms Lauren was a single woman who owned a "small jewellery employment business" that sells items prices from $350 to $5,000 ..... which was a little disingenuous, considering the worlds paparazzi had descended on rural Ireland.

The defence for her actions offered was that Ms Lauren had consumed three alcoholic drinks before boarding the flight, and had also taken various medications as she had a "difficult medical past" and that she suffered from a number of medical conditions. The defence added that Ms Lauren "absolutely and fully accepts" she may have to deal with the issue of compensation as a result of her actions on 6 January. It was calculated that her behaviour had caused costs of $43,158 (€ 31,731), as a result of the flight diversion, and costs which had been incurred by the airline, police, and the inconvenience it caused to passengers and crew (missed flights, etc etc).

She pleaded guilty to the two charges laid against her, and was fined just €2,000 over the 'air rage' incident. Hardly a punishment for a wealthy family (fines only hurt the poor), but then she had a previously unblemished record and no other convictions. ..... hmm.

She is one of those 'glitterati' who live in a world of wealth that is generally beyond our ken, and flit in and out of our consciousness only when they are seen at fashion or society events, OR when they are caught in the full search lights of publicity after an 'Oops moment' ... there have been one or two on the thread, and they appear mainly as a little illustration of a world of privilige that most of us will never know .... but they can be found in the gossip pages if you know their names and read the right sort of articles.

• She has two older brothers: one, who is in the restaurant business, and another who is an artist, and is married to 'Dancing With The Stars' contestant .... Elizabeth Berkley.

Apparently she checked into the 'Timberline Knolls' rehab centre this week ..... but the press soon smelt a rat ... or at least part of a cork. And quickly started to report that she was in fact going into rehab for treatment of an alcohol issue as well .... 'A source' was much quoted as saying that:

"In recent months, those closest to her had become increasingly worried about her drinking. It's been the stuff of legend in the past and she's never hidden the fact that she loves to drink. Now, though, part of her bid to get healthy is to get completely healthy -- and that will involve looking at her abuse of alcohol. Some of her advisers had raised this in the past."

She herself tweeted that "I'll be unavailable for the next 30 days, seeking treatment for my eating disorder, to learn to love myself again. Exactly as I am". .... Well brushing your teeth in Jack Daniels sure don't help ....

Reality TV 'stars' only qualify for this thread if they do something to raise them out of the mundane (crime, drug busts, arrests etc) .... this is especially true of the stars of such shows as Teen Mom (and the myriad others of this ilk), but there are those who make the mark ..... Farrah Abraham (born in Omaha, Nebraska), lately of Teen Mom 'fame' has recently passed the (admittedly quite low) bar.

Living in Omaha, Nebraska, she first came into the public notice when she was featured on the MTV series '16 & Pregnant' and 'Teen Mom' for four seasons after she had an unplanned child with her then boyfried (who died in a car crash before it was born). She had been a cheerleader before getting pregnant and the fact that she was a single mother caused her to have to have to curtail her ambitions to be a model, as she struggled to attend modeling casting calls, as well as clashing with her love life. However, ever resourceful, she published her autobiography, 'My Teenage Dream Ended' in August 2012.

She is also an aspiring musician and has released several experimental pop songs.

Apart from the obvious, her 'reality' story was punctuated with clashes with her 'Born again' mother, and this culminated in her mother Debra Danielson being arrested and charged in an Iowa court with assault in January 2010. The final straw had been an argument with her mother over "child care issues as well as other problems". When Danielson threw a t-shirt that landed near her infant Abraham yelled loudly, leading Danielson to allegedly grab Abraham by the throat and "hit her along the side of her head and hit her in the mouth." A police report stated that they had observed "multiple cuts to the right side of the victim's mouth." As a result of the fight with her mother, Farrah and her child moved out of her mother's house.

After proving that her dead boyfriend was the father of her child with DNA tests, her inlaws counter sued her for visitation rights.

In May 2013, a porn distribution company released a sex tape featuring Abraham having sex with the porn star James Deen ... "Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom". It has been reported that Abraham sold the footage (which was originally intended to be marketed as a "leaked" celebrity sex tape), to Vivid Entertainment for $1 - 1.5 million. Abraham later defended her decision to make and sell her porn video, claiming that she wanted to "celebrate her awesome body".

However, in January 2014 she started to backtrack, and said that she now regrets baring all for a 2013 sex tape, because the explcit film has robbed her of her true friends. She says she would not have made the adult film if she had known of the repercussions. “It made it hard to have friends and a private life and to trust family, who I feel use me for money. If I went back in time, I would not have done it. The sex tape ruined my life. Knowing my sex tape was out there for everyone in the world to see… was overwhelming. I wanted to hide my face and not go out or pick up my phone.” .... she makes no mention of regretting all the money she has allegedly made.
