One morning Estreeter gets a compulsion to take a special trip to the Australian outback. He rents a Land Rover and puts all kind of stuff in it(water, food packs, emergency supplies etc). He does not want to bring his own car, because you never know what could happen to you in the outback. He parks the Land Rover in a secluded spot and then just starts walking. He gets so caught up in his own thinking that he does not realize that he has walked into a grove of trees inhabited by a bunch of kookaburras, those strange birds that make sounds like human laughter. One thing about these birds is that they are agressive in defending their feeding and mating territories. All of a sudden Estreeter is attacked by a bunch of the birds. One goes so far as to knock right into Estreeter's head knocking him unconscious. Unfortunately the bird also drops dead.

Now Estreeter is lying unconscious on the ground. A few hours later a local hiker comes upon him. He looks over Estreeter, sees that he is not badly hurt and goes through his pants pockets and robs him of everything. He finds the keys to the Land Rover and using his binoculars sees the vehicle parked near a tree about 2 miles away. Several more hours go by and a pair of American environmentalists come upon Estreeter. Seeing the dead bird and the big bump on Estreeter's head, they get the wrong idea and say to each other." This man had a fight with a local bird." "How dare he, the son of a b...h". "Let's teach him a lesson" The two Americans strip Estreeter of all his clothes, and they walk away. So now Estreeter is naked lying on the ground with a big bump on his head. More hours go by and now wifey at home is getting worried. She calls the local police, and tells them that her husband took a trip by himself to the outback. They call for back-up and start searching. A police helicopter which can cover more ground is used and within 30 minutes locates him. They find him naked with a bump on his head. His Land Rover was stolen.
They take him home, but wifey is really mad. When Estreeter wakes up, she says to him. "Now you are in real trouble buster". "First I had to bail you out of jail for making a fool of yourself in front of a judge in traffic court and now this. You disappear into the outback doing who knows what and get knocked over the head by a mad kookaburra!" "You have to sleep on a hammock outside. You're not getting into my bed!" Estreeter is beside himself. He does not know what to say or do. He just goes to his liquor cabinet and starts drinking, and drinking and drinking until he falls on the floor in a drunken stupor. The End(for now)

Kookaburras don't live in the outback, but they do inhabit the area around Melbourne and Geelong which is your territory.
